I could use Chuul stats for that.

So the context for this is that I have very little D&D experience since the boyscouts, and the vast majority of source books that I read were my dads old ADD books (I think they were called monster manual or fiend folio or something idk) from the 70s that I read over and over religiously, but I could have sworn that there was a whole section on just big normal animals and how to stat them.

But as I type this out I'm realizing that the bizzare house rules we played at camp were some hodge podge of 40 year old rules and the fabrications of 12 year olds so maybe don't go by my experience lol.

I know but I was googling things and evidently Advanced dungeons and dragons is outdated and my knowledge of it is no longer relevant. Glad they still have that tho.

Does anyone who knows anything about D&D know what number ADD would be? It seems like the generations are numbered now

Okay so I have performed another google search and it is just 1. First edition

Corindia wrote:Okay so I have performed another google search and it is just 1. First edition

Pretty sure it kinda moved into 2e partially

god, all we had were some random GURPS sourcebooks and my dads ancient ADD manuals but when you're stuck in a tent for a week you can make it work

Nights edge wrote:Pretty sure it kinda moved into 2e partially

i think it was 1 and 2 on wikipedia, but those books were 70s era so the specific ones we had were 1st I think

Okay, I know I'm triple posting, but I've found the books we used and evidently some of them werent ADD, they were just original run sourcebooks from before there were versions. I'm really nostalgia tripping.

All of the pictured ones are the ones we had

this is the only GURPS book I remember we had, but I think there were more

God just works in mysterious ways.

Miklania wrote:It's very impressive. The only thing that I'd change is how the coastlines don't always look like coastlines. In some ares the coast starts in the middle of a mountain, rather than tapering down as they normally do, even in areas with very rocky mountainous coastlines. I'd look at maps of Scotland for references. The islands in particular appear to be cutouts from the middle of a continent. The flow of ridges and valleys should be more radial, rather than horizontal. The Hawaiian islands would probably be a good place to look for references.

I used Hawaii for some of the satellite images I used as bases, specifically the islands. It's hard to get them perfect. I'll try.

Register of Soft Cap Exceeding and WMD Possessing Nations

Home | ADTWI | 30+ Nations | Resources & Tutorials List |

Pursuant to Interior Executive Order 3 on population caps, Interior Executive Order 7 on GDP per Capita limits, and Roleplay Executive Order 3 on WMD limits, this dispatch is to register those nations that have successfully appealed an excess of a soft cap or possession of WMDs, and facilitate the appeals process for Soft Cap excesses and possession of WMDs in new nations.

Upon the submission of your appeal, your submission will be reviewed by the Secretary of Roleplay, or a panel of the Secretary of Roleplay, the Associate of the Office, and another randomly selected citizen of TWI as necessary, on the merits of your submission. This review process will take no longer than one week, after which the Secretary of Roleplay shall deliver the verdict of the panel.

If accepted, you will be notified and this Register shall be updated to reflect the change.

If rejected, you may resubmit your appeal after a period of 1 month, during which you are expected to continue developing your nation and getting involved in TWI RPs. After two rejections, the decision can no longer be appealed.

You may submit a separate appeal after submitting one prior, but not to increase a cap already accepted.

Answer the following statement honestly and sincerely. Your appeal will be lodged for recordkeeping and you may be called for further arguments, which may also be lodged for recordkeeping.

All Submissions will be done via telegrams directed to this Office only. No other form of submission shall be accepted.

In 150 words or less, please argue in favour of your appeal. This shall include the benefits you would provide to the wider RP landscape with it and limitations you would impose to prevent its abuse.

They should change it to nuclear weapons. WMDs is pretty broad and I'm sure most people have biological or chemical weapons.

It was intended to capture all those.

Thuzbekistan wrote:It was intended to capture all those.

Indeed. I’ll be using it more as a shortlist for the people who do already have WMDs so I know who could use them in the future. I’m also going to link the relevant dispatches of their WMD programs for the same reason. I’ll add you in later today.

I very much prefer the first one. Although the Nordic style is neat.
