Same. Luckily most of my road experience comes from areas where the police almost never goes.

Or they go but they are busy handling the stuff in the slums

Except, I drive by police regularly. And they don't give sh*t for some reason, though they stop other people happily.

The place I live is statistically one of the most crime-free places in the world (not just the US) - it's been nearly 50 years since a murder's happened

Also, I was not aware Helsinki had slums. Not like Philly anyhow (no offense to Jagiellon lol, but Philly has a worse stench than Jersey)

Oh pretty much all of Finland have what we here call slums. I don't think that they are that bad when compared to other nations but for us, they are terrible. The slums in all simplicity are areas with older and cheaper apartments, with a large portion of them owned by the municipality or the government. Then, immigrants, refugees or plain old drunks, unemployed et cetera live there, some by themselves and some through welfare.

Basically, I live right next to Vantaa's second downtown, which happens to have some of the highest crime rates in all of Finland. Not to mention that 45% -ish of the housing there is either rental or welfare apartments.

Literally during the first week of me living in that area, I saw a group of Estonians whacking the shi* out of Romanis.

Does anyone have any good cult/religion factbook's I could look at for inspiration?

Why is that a trauma? It means that you don't have to touch it yourself.

Zargyana wrote:Yea I'm an oldie, but you guys and this corner of the internet are kinda special to me so I'm back~

Zargyana has been back since the start of April already, as far as I can tell based on new dispatches. Btw, since a couple of weeks I'm listing the nations that arrived or returned (and that haven't left again at the moment of the report) in the weekly report of the TWI Office of Information so that should make it easier to notice when someone familiar arrives :)

Wait you’re a senior?

Remodio wrote:Time to do the AP Lit test :(

What is it?

Nhoor wrote:What is it?

The AP tests are pretty much the highest level standardized testing you can do in the K-12 school system in America, and are for people who take the AP (highest level offered) classes. Depending on your score these often count towards college credits. This one is Literature, which is exactly as... exciting... as you think it is

Remodio you should have taken the Language & Composition one instead (if it's an option) . I enjoyed that class and can actually use what I learned unlike what my friends in Lit had to deal with

We take both, and the class itself alternates every other year for juniors and seniors. This year was Literature so next year we’re doing the Language class, yet we’re taking the Language exam next Monday

Junior, actually

Apparently there's a website you can pay an e-girl to play games with you. Place your bets how long that lasts lol
