And so they do. Just for one night, even if the world isn't ending, they get their break. Afterward, a memorial service is opened in Hagorth Dasquem's name in the Lexxonian Palace's honorary graveyard. It sits right between Ernest and Vixen Wakefield herself. The world moves on. Even though it didn't end that night, it will still one day END.

Meanwhile, in an alternate dimension...

The radio crackles... "The comet... remains intact...--" Michelle turns off the radio immediately. That's it. She speaks calmly as if the world isn't about to end in literally 10 minutes. "Let's get back to the table. No more news." Everyone nods, silently going along with the act of making their final night alive just like any another Saturday. Meanwhile, in LNN's broadcasting room... "So... Comet Lhari is still intact," the news anchor sighs, everyone in the studio running off. The news anchor goes on, "Well, I suppose there's only one thing left on our minds. Of course, that being what tomorrow's weather would look like if we were going to be alive to see it!" Someone from the background shouts: "Screw this! I'm going to see my husband!" Another person shouts over the phone in a heavy accent: "Talia! No more long-distance, I'm coming to see you now!" The streets outside of LNN and across Amaxon City, as well as across Lexxon and Nikolaias, and the world in general, have erupted into pandemonium. It's the last night of the world, and it's officially become a lawless land for the final 10 minutes of it.

Across the globe... Couples hug each other as they watch Comet Lhari in the night sky grow closer. Some people use pistols and revolvers to shoot uselessly at the comet. Across Polmenania, people rush to the beaches along the coast of the impact site to get the best possible view for their final moments. Riots, looting, absolute chaos everywhere. For people in more secluded areas, allow themselves to watch the comet make its impact from the great mountains. The group sits... reminiscing of their old adventures. Michelle tells the stories of the monster that was Ken Alans, and the slap she gave him once he ordered the infamous open fire on the Amaxon border. Anna Bello and Maya tell the story of how they became more than just co-workers after Eko restrictions were lifted. Harrison recounts his experiences with the Woodlocks, Andrew adding along, laughing gladly. It's just another night. "Should we say what we're grateful for?" Judy suggests, Duchess Anna nodding, "Why not? I'm grateful for the people I met during this recent ordeal." She locks hands with Emperor Jorad, the both of them smiling as Emperor Jorad speaks, "I'm grateful for meeting all of you. It's such an honor. And you especially, of course." He looks back to Duchess Anna. Siv raises his wine-filled glass, "I'm... Just glad we tried. Man, we tried." Ivan comforts him, "We know we did. It's just another night, Siv." Harrison admits, placing a hand on Siv's shoulder, "Honestly, I'm grateful for you tagging along. You've been such a cool dude. Sorry for my LNN outburst... And our competitive nature..." Siv replies, "It's no problem, really, Har. It made things a lot more interesting, and it's helped me really come to terms with just how much I should start letting myself truly live. I'm glad I could do it with you all."

The comet gets closer... It begins to burn like a fireball as it enters Earth's atmosphere. Michelle looks out of the window, watching Comet Lhari disappear into the horizon. She can't help but resemble it's appearance to Flight 802. Finally... KABOOM! Impact is made. Clouds disperse as the comet strikes the Atlantic, destroying onlookers on Polmenanian beach fronts. The shockwave fans out across the globe, high-magnitude earthquakes erupting around worldwide. Debris from the impact zone flies miles into the sky, crashing back down again as residual meteors. Nations near the Atlantic are destroyed nearly immediately. The shockwave fans out further, faster than the speed of sound, toward Lexxon. The group waits... The first sign is apparent when the overhead lights begin to occasionally flicker. Michelle smiles, "This place always had bad wiring." Everyone sits around, talking more about past stories, admitting long-kept secrets, and overall enjoying the company. Michelle holds hands with Harrison once the shaking starts. It begins with a soft vibration of the ground and walls, almost as though someone was playing loud bass music next door. It soon escalates to shake drinks around, making them flow back and forth within their glasses. The lights flicker again. Everyone keeps the act up. Anna Bello holds onto Maya and Judy, as if they were a happy family of three. Eventually, things fall quiet once more, and Siv speaks, "Well, we really had everything, didn't we?" Everyone shares silent nods across the table. The shaking starts up again, building up. Time freezes as the shockwave reaches them. The walls of Michelle's childhood home crash down. The windows shatter. The lights overload and explode. All in a second, everything is dark.
