The Principality of Greater Papua Guinea is a huge, cultured nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service, state-planned economy, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 402 million Greater Papua Guineans are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Law & Order, Administration, and Industry are also considered important, while Spirituality and Welfare are ignored. The average income tax rate is 35.3%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The Greater Papua Guinean economy, worth 20.1 trillion Rupiahs a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, broadly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Retail, Information Technology, and Automobile Manufacturing. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 49,988 Rupiahs, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

Rocket boots and thermal detonators have become standard-issue military gear, the entire entry for Greater Papua Guinea in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the World reads 'mostly harmless', on hunt days the unpleasant peasant runs in lieu of the pheasant, and major cities shut down as their local sports team takes to the field every day. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force. Greater Papua Guinea's national animal is the Kasowari, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Greater Papua Guinea is ranked 120,078th in the world and 76th in Resuscitation for Most Developed, scoring 53.71 on the Human Development Index.
