What the family has after our tax collection is seen as theirs to 'play with' in a sense. You may spend this money on whatever you wish, as your leaders have already made sure you have paid off everything for the entire year! Our soldiers are beloved by the entire country, and go through rigorous training in order to call themselves protectors of Meedvheyt and her people. It may seem crazy, but we, as a nation, truly have used weapons of war to create long lasting peace.
A question asked quite often is "What about civil rights?" Well considering the often exaggerated lies spread by groups seeking our destabilization, we don't blame you for your curiosity. While there are rules some may consider strict, there is not an abuse of our people happening as some have claimed. In fact, recent surveys suggest 95% of people support the government, and that number is steadily growing! We care for our people, and that is often reflected in our civil protectors. These brave men and women risk their lives daily to keep the peace, but if you stick around you can see them spend more time grabbing a bite to eat at the local café, engaging in meaningful and lasting conversation with people just like you!
We are also asked why our government is present in so many places, from television shows all the way to the numerous public offices in every city. That answer is simple! We have been able to not bog things down using our government, but to speed up and make it more efficient. We are proud to see how easy it is to do things that take much longer in other nations, like obtaining a license to drive a car or to obtain your yearly stipend from the government. Truth be told, we are here to help you in anyway we can!
Many people who see us as an oppressive regime often point to our election system, saying it is flawed or rigged in some way. The truth here couldn't be further from their claims. Surveys have found a steady increase in support and positive ratings for the Autarch. In just one year, it jumped from 80% all the way to 95%! Now that is what we call progress. Our government is seen as a true extension to the wishes of the people, and only by trusting us as we trust you will we be able to live in complete balance.
