I feeeeel you! Been abt 4 years now since i graduates uni… definitely a different stress than now, that’s for sure.

Ouch. I got into the tabletop for 40k but I mostly do it on TTS

I purchased an army off of Etsy of various Death Korps of Krieg figs. I got through painting 10 models and theyve been chilling ever since…

Got like.. idk, 2750pts worth of models lol. Its such a fun game.. i just didnt realize how much the rules have changed and how much longer matches are now.

I got an infantry squad of kriegers that I haven't put together yet, but they are recasts.

I actually concluded though after playing TTS and subsequent changes in fluff over the years that this is not the army I want to play. Instead, I have armylists for Iron Warriors and Chaos Knights, and so when I get around to making one in person I will probably go with one of those(or both)

Yea i personally miscalculated how numerous the larger armies get. Makes it hard to appreciate individual figs.

I wanna put together a small warband of noise marines. I feel id enjoy painting them much more, and consider their nuances more.

You seen the “Iron Within” episode on the warhammer app?

I have, I was somewhat aggravated that there are no Iron Warriors in it, at least what I saw of it.

smaller model count is part of the reason why I lean towards Knights. Also because I love mecha. The smaller count makes it easier to put detail into it, you sort of save money on total army cost, and it makes your turns faster 'cause you don't have to move as many models

They pop in at the last third of the episode or so. It was a pretty decent episode.

But i will say that Warhammer studios has altered how i view bolters entirely. The rate of fire is so slow, in fact most every gun fight has really slow gunfire. It just disturbs me a bit lol

I grew up playing 3rd edition 40k, so i fell into the model pit. But ive noticed its fun for whoever is playing against me… lol seeing me remove so many models every turn.

As far as portraying 40k in animation I still feel Astartes did it best

I think that was made by someone else and they ended up hiring him afterwards. Definitely a sick video though!

They did hire him, yeah, although I don't think he's done much since.

So with the last NS update, who's getting the Keys to the republic

Well that would depend on Tog, really

Any plans for the weekend?

Naw, I just finished up with the semester so I'm taking my short break to relax.

I bought a house

Nice nice

We won:

It is a bright, sunny, slightly green-tinged new age in which we will awaken tomorrow, for the Sun Kingdom and her allies have prevailed over the insidious servants of Lilith and all other competitors in their quest to amass the largest uranium stockpile the region, nay, the universe has ever seen. Over the course of the Fair, the Jellyfish Elite Fighting Force fought zealously to deprive their opponents of every single lump of uranium possible, seizing upon newcomers and puppets alike to inspect the contents of their stockpiles.

Through these brave efforts, the combined might of JEFF accrued the world’s single largest nuclear stockpile in history: 2,766 lumps of Uranium, over 600 more than their closest rival. JEFF also bested all but one in its sidequest to establish a monopoly over Coffee Beans; all but two (one of which being an ally) in its attempts to moderate the global currency with Gold Bullion; and again, all but two in its stash of Gas Centrifuges, which were stored suspiciously close to the Uranium stockpile.

It is thanks to the fearsome (and, according to some, rabid) members of JEFF and their allies that we can thank for these victories: Democritus, Liberal Democratic Union, The Region That Has No Big Banks, InterLeft, and Liberty Democratic Alliance. A special shoutout to United Democratic Christian States for organizing this behemoth of an alliance, and to our dearest Sun King, New Metropolitan France, for leading Democritus into victory one last time.

Long Live the Sun King! Long Live the Solar Autocracy!

Whats up fellas

Busy as hell, almost all the time doing work for class.

Depressions

I gotta study but I do not want to :(

Works been pretty hectic, its finally winding down now that schools are ending their term for the summer.

My big update is i decided to Scratch build an Emperors children Noise Marine warband, and kitbash in the “noise”.

Super stoked to get that project going. Antsy about the likeliness of needing to learn how to sculpt puddie, but still excited.
