I love autumn. Besides my birthday and Halloween, I enjoy walks in the crispy, brightly coloured trees as the leaves waltz to the ground, the warm days and cool nights - and associated hot drinks! I can also stargaze without having to stay up until midnight! Mars was bright orange low in the sky this evening. Stunning.
It’s also the time of year the tawny owls move their unhappy marriage and decide to have raging domestic disputes outside my bedroom window... The male has a gentle stereotypical “hoo hoo”. It’s quite pleasant. Lulling in fact. His lass though... Christ almighty. It’s an eardrum-blowing, skull-piercing mega-chirp direct from hell... The conversation goes something like “hoo hoo” “TRRRREEEEEEEEEEETREEEEERREETTEE”. He can hear you! No need to fkn shout! If she wakes me at 3 in the morning again, I swear to God my cat is getting a new toy tomorrow...

My cat Sophie quietly hates Clara, mainly for her absurdity but also for her ability to fly, Clara pays her back - for Sophie's wealth and fatness. All three of us together can't stand the sight of that idiot biker living on fifteenth floor and also postmen in their short shorts. There is very little love and understanding in this world...
