The Trevi Fountain in Rome. Pictures don't come anywhere close to doing it justice, but it's incredible seeing the fountain in person.

Nature’s art. The Hidden Falls in the Grand Teton Mountains. As far as art made by humans, I really like “Pollice Verso” by Jean-Léon Gérôme. The Gladiator one. It’s cool.

I remember seeing the infinite staircase painting when I was in elementary school. That was real trippy. I still find that as the most interesting piece of art yet.

I would say the most interesting would be a well crafted book (The Name of the Wind in this case). In terms of visual art I would say the Ohio River at sunset or any painting made with dots.

A 1947 half penny. The craftmanship of that ship is wonderful.

I'm aware. But similar things could be said about many other modern-day species, whose ancestors would be considered "extinct" so I would say that the answer still applies. But that's just my opinion.

Melencolia I was the first that came to mind, and not just because I love mathematical magic squares.

Humans. They have funny ears some big, some small. Some have attached lobes, others dangly. Some people dangle shiny jewellery and stones from them.

Ears are fascinating and actually used to play a major part in mating because you get attracted to different ear shapes just like eyes, nose and hair colour. It is still likely a subconscious decision of our body when we develop crush to puck someone with nice ears for nice ears generally work better and therefore increase the likelihood offspring will have better hearing.

This is a good one.

After much consideration and an archaeological scandal or two mentioned by Tethys, I would like to know what really happened during the Trojan War. Down to what the buildings looked like, tactics employed, and what was actually said between all the various mythological figures.

hi, i'm finally back, and i'll have to get a new flag
