I've never liked any of my own posts unless I was trying to convince people that I was not the same person.

There has been an edit made regarding the Laws of War. It was not a major edit. They are as follows.

It shouldn't.

I think this is my favorite one yet. I don't know the words but it's still soothing. Calming. Good job.

With my stallion at night, I shall leave for the fields
By the night so dark and silent we will go
We shall walk together by the fields, my steed and I
We shall walk together by the fields, my steed and I

In the fields the stars are shinning
No one can be seen around
Only my stallion and I, walking by the fields at night
Only my stallion and I, walking by the fields at night

Let me mount my stallion
Take me across the fields, away!
By the endless fields of mine
By the endless fields of mine

Let me glance at the sky
To see where the the fields give birth to dawn
Oh that cowberry color, scarlet sunrise!
Is that place real, or is it not

My little fields, my streams
Lights of villages afar
Golden rye and curly flax
I'm in love with Russia, I'm in love

The year will be good and the harvest heavy
We've been through much, we'll make it through once more
Sing now, golden rye, sing now curly flax
Sing about Russia, about my love!

Anthem change leads to civil war!?

A civil war between socialist, federalist, and conservative factions of the Shinnokawan politico has erupted as a result of an anthem change.

It all started when an Assembly Representative from the Federalist party, Historian Yamakawa Hiro, and her historian association found some songs from a forgotten musician from the times of the Shinnokawan Revolution of 1981 SSC. The musician was known to be Park Murata. He made some marches and anthems that were popular in the days before the revolution and was recognized by revolutionary politician Sen. Meiji Ryou. When they created manuscripts of the pieces and, with the help of the Shinnokawan Philharmonic Orchestra, performed it, many people including members of the Department of Culture and the Arts found it amazing. One of the marches, titled Battle Cry of Freedom, was remarked to be so good, the DoCA Undersecretary said it should be the new national anthem. The conductor from the orchestra suggested making one of the other marches, Stars and Sun Forever (not it's OOC name), to be the National March. With this in mind, Representative Yamakawa went to the Assembly session with a bill that would make the songs the new anthem.

Both songs sat well with the majority of the people, and thus people became more and more interested in the works of Mr. Park. However, the majority of the Conservatives who held the previous anthem dear voted down the bill. The Socialists also voted it down, proposing their own anthem, which didn't sit well with majority of the people who already had disdain for the socialists and communists. The Liberals surprisingly voted for the bill, remarking that they welcomed the themes of freedom and liberty in these songs. When the bill was passed with a slight majority, the President signed it. With that signature sparked what would become a division in a nation.

Many people who were loyal to their parties protested the new anthems. Protests turned into riots. Riots turned into open rebellion. 7 of the 8 island provinces left the United Republic and formed their own states. The Conservatives held the North and they called themselves the Confederation of Shinnokawa. The Socialists held the south and they called themselves the People's Republic of Shinnokawa. Only one Island province, Shinkumo, decided to stay.

As of now, the President has declared a state of civil war and the assembly, now without the representatives from the rebelling provinces, approved the declaration and what's left of the United Republic, the nation, braces itself for war.

This march was from the American National March, Stars and Stripes Forever by John Phillip Sousa. Linkhere

Story
Murata Park composed this piece after the revolution when the flag was raised. At the time, the flag had a sun with 8 stars surrounding it. While looking onto the flag on the flag post, he was inspired to create this march reminded by the story of when this flag was first raised in 1892 SSC. Now, 60 years later, it has become a legendary piece.

Lyrics:
Hurrah for the flag of the free
May it wave as our standard forever
The gem of the land and the sea
The banner of the right

Let tyrants remember the days
When our fathers with mighty endeavor
Proclaimed as they marched to the fray
That by their might and by their right, It waves forever.

Follow-up post. Here are the songs that caused a civil war.

Aivintis wrote:I think Kian Khe gave it to him.

Nah, he conquered anarchist lands from Kian Khe, I just drew borders for him.

His claim was too big of course, so I made some changes.

The Reason is what?

When media interviewed the leaders of both the Confederation and the People's Republics as to why they left the republic, they said they felt that the federal government has been choking their power and liberty so they would much rather make their own nations. They also said things that pertained to their ideological principles.

However, investigative journalists have found another possible motive: Indigenous Serfdom.

In the island provinces of Shinnokawa, there was an ethnic group known as the Kanshen aka Indigenous Island Shinnokawans. Even though slavery and serfdom are illegal, some government officials and business people have created employment schemes to trick the newly-integrated Kanshen population. This effectively was slavery. What's worse is that the corruption has reached the highest level of provincial government. It is theorized that with President Watanabe's plans to increase funding and enforce stricter anti-corruption measures through the police and the Integrity Administration, the governors and representatives each to their respective parties decided to leave while they can. It is also theorized that the themes of freedom and liberty in the songs were feared to arouse a revolutionary spirit among the Kanshen.

In other news, there have been an influx of Kanshen refugees coming to the mainland. It is possible that they are escaping the confederation and the people's republic. Some of the refugees are joining the military. Others are trying to settle in the mainland. In response, both states enforced stricter border control. The United Republic decides to use the unused funds from the tresury to aid the Kanshen.

Another thing that should be noted is that the HR Department of the Armed Forces reported that half of the navy's "competent" naval capacity have defected to the either state depending on what province they were stationed in.

Imagine the surprise I had when I found out the IOS game, which I adored as a kid but lost after getting a new phone, I haven’t played in over 5 years was actually a bootleg with stolen assets.
