As you can see, a new resolution is currently up in the voting floor. I suggest everyone give their voice regarding the resolution.
Representing the UM, I decided to vote against the resolution. Here are the reasons:
It is unnecesarry for an international law to micromanage every nation regarding its cloning regulation. It's not as important as, let's say, health care or airspace law.
There are several unclear points inside the resolution. One of them for example, is that permission from the sapient being is required before cloning can be proceeded. While this makes total sense, it will become a problem if the sapient being, which is the subject of cloning, is already dead.
You may discuss everything regarding this resolution on the RMB for the days to come. Shall any of you object the decision, we can always negotiate and come to a middle point in our discussion.
