The truth is that His Corpulence does not plug up chimneys, at least in Treadwellia. Do recall that all the chimneys in Treadwellia were recently enlarged to allow entrance specifically for His Rotundity should He have the need to ever do so, particularly on a given night once per year. Granted, such girth might lead to His plugging up chimneys in other parts of the world where children are unaware of His Immensity's precise measurements. That would be most unfortunate and dangerous for Merry, Jolly Tubbius.
