The Oatland Summer Games have officially begun, with over five hundred athletes competing; representing sixteen nations across six regions. I'm especially gratified this year by the excellent dispatches released by many the nations competing.

We wish the best of luck to you all and hope that you will all compete in sprite of fair play and common brotherhood.

Here are the results of the first two events;
In figure skating, the gold was taken Robrecht Pavía and silver by Jacomina Antonisen, both of Paplia while Genet Heartley of Finmany took the bronze.
While they are a first time participant here it is no surprise to see Paplia dominating this event, as the nation has a strong domestic tradition of figure skating.

Meanwhile in Cross Country Skiing the gold was won by Liu Zhang of Ordand while silver and bronze were won by Jordan Skinner and Jacques Dalby respectivly, both of Verdant Haven
That's a sweep from foresters(forestians?)

Results of today's events are in. In free style skiign Kiri Mercer of Verdant Haven took the gold while Kathrine Russo of Paplia and Jauff Hamilton of Finmany took the silver and bronze respectivly

Verdant Haven took the gold in the bobsledding event as well, with The Ridewood Rockets leading the event, followed by The Daikon Dashers of The Onigiri Enclave and the Finmany twirls of Finmany.

Verdant Haven did very well in this event, with Esmee Ryan earning the Gold and Jordan Skinner the Silver, while the bronze was taken by Kaguya Okomitsu of The Onigiri Enclave.

In Curling the gold went to our very own Nokgar, while the silver went to The Ramen Bowlers of The Onigiri Enclave and the bronze to Finmany's Finmany swirls
