Tell that to teachers. They won't listen.

I do think you at least need to be careful what you are reading and fact check it every so often because there are many wikipedia articles that I've had to double check for incorrect information like dates and years etc.

Although I do think it is useful for a general knowledge of a topic. I mean, how do you think I found out about "The Great Game" where Britain and Russia tried to stop each other from conquering Afghanistan?
