After investigation by the DPBI and DIIA, it has been uncovered that the one behind the recent cyber attack is not a Locomotian, but a Dogelander! Private Ellis G. Fredrickson, part of the 45th Doggonian Infantry Unit, has been arrested for causing nearly 9.3 Million Rova in damage, inciting a war, and treason. He supposedly wanted to get back in and fight. When he heard about tensions, he decided to unleash a computer virus to make the Doges more likely to want to be at war with Locotima. Sargents Daniel P. Smith and Johnathan M. Brooks, Major Jeffrey Fredrick Charleson, and Brigader General Gerald F. Sherman, all in the 45th DIU, have also been arrested for spreading the myth that it came from Locotima and are awaiting trial. If found guilty, Private Fredrickson will be dishonorably discharged and put in solitary confinement for life without the possibility of parole or death. Fredrickson’s computer, house, all of his money, and his clothes will be seized. If found guilty, Smith, Brooks, Charleson, and Sherman will all be forced to pay a fine of up to 1.2 thousand Kibbles, which is much, much more in Rova, and sentenced to, at max, 45 years in prison without the possibility of parole. For some of the suspects, most notably Sherman, this is effectively a life sentence with extra steps. Currently, Charleson and Fredrickson have already appealed to the Dogean Supreme Court.
