Vicente Nkemdilim Desafío Negado | Vicente Nkemdilim Denied Challenge

The Supreme Court of Sohongida has denied any challenges of the embezzlement charges against Vicente Nkemdilim. This is due to a lack of evidence that would remove Mr. Nkemdilim from the situation of embezzlement. Any mentions of foul play against Mr. Nkemdilim have been put down to hearsay and have been thrown out in all levels of courts within Sohongida. Mr. Nkemdilim will have to serve his entire ten year prison sentence.

Taiseer al-Yousef Asesinada | Taiseer al-Yousef Killed

Taiseer al-Yousef, born Juan Carlos Ugoorji, has been killed by the Sohongidan Armed Forces in an attempt to take the State of Kaduna. While attempting a raid on an unspecified compound in the state's capital, Kaduna, al-Yousef was killed. It's suspected that Free North Sohongida were working with, or attempting to, IYZN in order to separate north and south Sohongida. It is unclear as to if al-Yousef was the leader of Free North Sohongida, but he had been suspected of becoming the new leader along with two other individuals. President Obasie was quoted saying this upon hearing the news:

"The more we fight against those who wish to break Sohongida apart, the more we can secure the unity of this nation. Those who wish to break apart our nation will ultimately face the same consequences, it's just a matter of when, not if."

Some critics have slammed this comment as it shouldn't have been made in public, but Obasie's supporters, and even some of his harshest critics, echo the message he is trying to send with that statement. Despite going against Obasie's attempt at a slow push, a majority of those who have commented on Obasie's statement feel the same as he does. With the death of al-Yousef, two individuals stand as the only likely replacements for the previous known leader of Free North Sohongida, Abdul Maalik al-Abdallah, who was arrested over two months ago. Those individuals are, once again, Bakar al-Muhammad and Abdur Rasheed el-Alli. Citizens of Sohongida are encouraged to give any information they can on the whereabouts of these two individuals, but have been asked to stay as far away as possible from the individuals as they are considered extremely dangerous.
