Region: The Hole To Hide In

In the war in Honalulu, Amberleaf's support was lying with the 2nd Federal Republic of Honalulu, being Socialist Democrats. It's view of the 2nd Socialist Federal Republic of Honalulu is more skeptical, but one of the more favorable options on the table. With the erratic situation, Amberleaf would approve the alliance of the 2FRH and the 2SFRH, seeing it as a necessity to strengthen these two more favorable candidates.

Yet Amber will not tolerate sympathies towards Otyken, which has moved to the top of Amberleaf's enemy list. Amberleaf made to deliver needed supplies and weaponry to its overseas Honalulan protectorates, and it to use its navy to secure their traderoutes, also opening up access to the PB marked indirectly via Amberleaf. The condition was to cease sympathies towards Otyken. If one seeks a Technocratic idol, to look towards The Distanic Confederacy instead. In addition to provided resources, Amberleaf offers to send up to 50'000 soldiers to defend its protectorates, and provide them with Amberlevian workforce, if needed.

nation]Baltocarpathia[/nation] made an offer of more cooperation, and Amberleaf is willing to hear proposed specifics. Until then, there were some other matters to discuss.

Baltocarpathia's current actions resulted in mixed feelings in Amberleaf. Their occupation in Federation of Africa was approved of by Amberleaf's current more Militarist sentiment, seeing it as a great spot for a base against Otyken, but did spark some opposition from the more Progressive and Pacifist Cantons, largest of which is Silvercinder. Amberleaf overall stayed quiet on the topic, having more urgent matters.

Another concern was Balto's intervention in Honolulu, supporting the Absukian Republic of Burwai, which seemed more on the path of working against Amberleaf's favorite candidate. Amberleaf advocated for Balto to bring the ARB more in line to work with, rather than against, the 2FRH.

The proposed migration treaty ran into some problems in the Amber Parliament, as the ruling Coalition that was practically unilaterally ruling the Parliament consisted mostly of more foreign-sceptical parties. The Populus as a whole was still mostly in favor of keeping good ties in the international stage, and since they could force the Parliaments hand if need be with a Popular vote. The Coalition finally reluctantly accepted the proposed treaty, but it pointed out an unconventional atmosphere of the current Parliament. The event, with the threat of Popular override, left a strange taste, where the Populus seemed to have to work against its own Parliament.

RP | Mythics

The Mythic party of Hyland wasn't like the others. While new parties usually took some time to gain momentum, Hyland had practically sprung from the ground to the currently 3rd largest party, not far from 2nd and 1st place. It had very much the loud, disruptive, and spectacular air of an opposition party, which prioritized getting its message out there, rather than partaking in policy making, but was acting and treated as part of the Establishment, whose parties usually are more conventional and focused on getting things done.

In the Canton of Drownark, Hyland Mythics were holding occasional marches in the night, with violet-flamed torches (a color which had become associated with them), stylish militaristic costumes, and occasional music troops, like they were holding a celebratory war victory march. The marches were mostly perceived as a fun way to strengthen the community. The Mythics' obsession with aesthetics enchanted the people, so that they were missing the more sinister hints of the Hyland party.

The speaker of Hyland and de-facto matriarch of the party was Everess, who had once been arrested a little more than a decade ago for advocating the execution of Pacifists during a heated political situation in Canton Highess. Everess had at that point written a book which advocated for a more Militaristic governance and a xenophobic attitude among other things. Since that time her style had gotten more refined, delving deeper into themes of mythologizing the past.

In a secret underground room the Hylandian Elite was plotting. They knew how to influence opinion like no other party, it was always purely based in emotion. People needed to be in a intoxicated state of myths and glamour, where emotions grip the heart, not in the demystified real world, where they thought rather than felt. Hyland was built on this theme of dreamlike fervor for an irreality.

Hyland had gotten their candidate installed as Vilight, a young Drone with a enchanting way of speaking, with clothes in the style of old extravagant military uniforms. Where the last Vilight, Feylar, was soft and frienfly, Vilight Veilchen had more an attitude of a charismatic commander. He looked intelligent and capable. Hyland had pushed a law which gave the Vilight more control over the Ministry, citing the Ministry's way of installing its own members an thus making the Executive a closed system, arguing to give more power to the Parliament to keep the Ministry in check. After the new policy, Veilchen started to slowly make changes to the Ministry, making new departments and staffing them with Mythics, and replacing some of the Technocrats.

The Coalition had given Chancellorship to Wirkin, leader of the Militarist party Silver Thorns, because they were the largest in the Coalition. Hyland, and especially Everess, was now arguing to have their speaker installed instead. They argued Hyland's charismatic and attention-catching style to make more use of the role of Chancellor by boosting the Coalition's favorability. Discussions on the topic are ongoing.

RP | Silvercinder

Silvercinder was the Futuristic Canton of Amberleaf, and its capital. Technology was everywhere, high-tech trains connected the whole Canton, Etherbots (magical ant-folk bots) were walking and working among the population, the cities were littered with universities and research centers. Silvercinder was already halfway of being its own technocracy. Filled with Technocrats, Progressives, and Centrists, their political participation was majorly excluded from current politics, where they historically had always been the most influential Canton. Already being its own world from the rest of Amberleaf, and having always more or less allowed to doing what it wanted because of its relative power, the current political state had shiften Silvercinder from taking national influence, to taking cantonal influence, shifting the standard of power to a more local level, an only strengthening Silvercinder's cocooning.

With Otyken majorly falling out of favor, the Technocrats had shortly fallen, and now needed a new idol. The Distanic Confederacy was chosen to boost Silvercinder further into its desired Techno-Utopia. Silvercinder made attempts to further cooperation with Distan, with exchange of students and researchers, and establishment of joint science facilities and education centers. It also suggested Distan to take a more closer stance with PB, to apply for further articles or even membership. Silvercinder's unilateral propositioning to Distan upset the Parliamentary Coaltion, which intensified its rhetoric against Silvercinder, which seemingly acts like it is the only ones whose opinion counts for national decision making, which is typical for the elitist Technocrats.

In Silvercinder almost everyone was on Silverhill, a social media platform where you could join regions and subregions called "Hills" and interact with people online in various ways. People also could approve each other and give likes and other things, which resulted in a Merit Score for each user. Amberlevians naturally obsessed with social reputation had fully indulged in this feature in an severe extent, causing a lot of emotional stress. It had also given rise to social media celebrities. Influencers were becoming a thing. Drones did surprisingly well in the area, because their way was often very entertaining to the common folk.

The Intranet was all throughout Amberleaf, but Silvercinder was its main userbase. Gaming and video-watching and all kinds of functions were excessively used, really changing the lifestyle of the region drastically. Silvercinder always seemed like it was decades into the future from the rest of Amberleaf, but its people were getting ever stranger in the eyes of the nation. Consumerism, Individualism, Pacifism, Xenophilia, Social Progressivism. Silvercinder was simultaneously the most chill and the most intense Canton, and they loved it. It is where many of activists and emigrants to Greater Confederation of Switzerland and Baltocarpathia came from.

Hyland was a modern party, not matter how much they seem to hail the past. They were the most modern party, and were very adapt. The Hylandian Elite had started a program to infiltrate Silvercinder's intranet and spread their propaganda. The Mythics' sensationalist ways did very well in the digital environment. Mythics had often a little bit a way of inventing and twisting the reality of things, and in Silvercinder's confusing and intense intranet no-one noticed the cultivation of so many a conspiratorial corner.
