I’m more upset about the wing sauce stain I just got on my right sleeve than I am about that statement. Regardless of that, am I not allowed to respectfully air my grievances? Is that too emotional? I’d argue not.

And you certainly do, but diminishing the ability of people to roleplay(in this instance, leader meetings) and consistently failing to do so after assurances you will is just an example of how many roleplayers in this region have their hard work diminished by some who then fail to even do the work.
