Overview:

The Brotherhood of the of the Seas is a syndacate of Pirates, Privateers and Freebooters from different countries around the world united to free the seas from the oppression and the regulations of nations and corporations.

Code:

I. Every man or woman of the crews has a vote in affairs of moment; has equal title to the fresh provisions, or strong liquors, at any time seized, and may use them at pleasure, unless a scarcity makes it necessary, for the good of all, to vote a retrenchment.

II. Every man or woman of the crews shall obey his commander in all respects, as if the ship was his/her own, and as if he/she received monthly wages.

III. No striking one another on board, but every man's quarrels to be ended on shore, at sword and pistol.

IV. If any man or woman shall desert the ship or their quarters in battle, he/she shall be punished with death or marooning.

V. If any man or woman shall offer to run away, or keep any secret from the crew, he/she shall be shot.

VI. If any man or woman shall steal any thing in the crew, or game, he/she shall be marooned or shot.

VII. He/she that shall be guilty of drunkenness in time of engagement shall suffer what punishment the captain and majority of the crew shall think fit.

VIII. He/She that is found guilty of gaming, or defrauding one another, shall suffer what punishment the captain and the majority of the crew shall think fit.

IX. If any gold, jewels, silver, &c. be found on board of any prize, & the finder do not deliver it to the quarter master in the space of 24 hours he shall suffer what punishment the captain and the majority of the crew shall think fit.

X. That man or women shall not keep his arms clean, fit for an engagement, or neglect his business, shall be cut off from his share, and suffer such other punishment as the captain and the crew shall think fit.

XI. That every man or woman shall keep his watch night and day; and at the hour of eight in the evening every one shall retire from gaming and drinking, in order to attend his respective station.

XII. Every civilian or prisoner from a boarded ship should be treated with respect, and helped in case of need, he/she who shall disobey shall suffer present death.

XIII. No prey, no pay.

XIV. The captain and quartermaster to receive two shares of a prize: the master, boatswain, doctor, and gunner, one share and a half, and other officers one and quarter.

XV. Shipements of nations member of an alliance should be left alone.

XVI. Those crews who don't respect any of these articles should be banned from the Brotherhood permanently.
