Age and knowledge aren't always equal. I've met many a 12 year old who are smarter than adults. Usually, adults will have more knowledge by virtue of experience. They've simply had more years on Earth to learn.
That being said, the trend line never correctly portrays outliers. So I don't see why age is an issue here at all.

I've seen 12yos here argue for literal fascism without any idea that they were basically championing Nazi ideals, and many other causes rivalling in stupidity. I return for a minute only to find a kid thinking that Jeff Bezos is a role model for cheating his country out of sorely needed tax revenue even though he's the richest man on Earth, arguing that he "earned" the money, forgetting that he's earning it off the abysmal working conditions of minimum wage workers whose wages haven't risen in a decade despite growing inflation, and have to survive on food stamps even though they work 50 hours a week, while Bezos hoards his billions made from literal blood and is praised as a genius by a kid

The doesn't mean you could lump all 12 years old because of a few bad eggs. How do you even know they are 12 year old to begin? If they are 12 year olds, then we can educate them instead of immediately getting hostile to them. Being hostile to them would likely reinforce their poor ideals even more.
