The Autocratic Empire of Walfo, commonly called Walfo, is a Parliamentary Democracy on Earth. Walfo covers 148,940,000 square kilometers and has an estimated population of 9.746 billion. Walfo comprises of 196 subdivisions and 241 territories. The Walfonian government is the only ruling power on earth, making it a "Uni-Power" or basically a world dominator.

Etymology

The name Walfo was created by a vote of the Grand Parliament after the name "Nuxembourg" had become too tyrannical in relation to Emperor Neil I.

The standard way to refer to a citizen of Walfo is as a "Walfonian."

History

Walfo began as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in March of 1815. As soon as we had gained independence from the French, we started to dig for resources, although this was hidden from the public. We also began to inconspicuously pull ahead technologically from the rest of the world. And this was kept private too. As we moved ahead technologically, we also started working on our defense and army. We built weapons that were the first for their time, including the first plane in 1854, the first machine gun in 1847, first cars in 1871 all developed in these underground fortresses. As WWI raged, our army and technology sheltered underground and we then decided to keep all technology and weapons we created a secret, and underground, and renamed these forces “The Underground Soldiers”. The head of the Royal Family decided to rule the underground lands, and his brother ruled the surface until the start of Nuxembourg. Our own analysts speculated that we were 50 years ahead of the rest of the world, and that continued until the conquering of the world. After the humiliation of WWII, we decided to harbor a small light equipped army which was approved. We continued to surge ahead on the world stage and our underground black market helped make us one of the richest countries in the world. But we had to do something with our millions of underground forces, and we wanted to share our technology with the world. On December 11, 1999, Luxembourg renamed itself Nuxembourg and on January 1 2000 our underground forces started their conquests. The actual monarch emerged from underground, his name Emperor Neil I. And the rest was history. We shook the world stage because our weapons, armor, and technology were 50 years ahead of everyone else. Within 10 years we conquered the world and on December 11, 2010, shortly before we conquered China, we renamed ourselves the Autocratic Empire of Walfo and started to build the legislative functions we use today. And as Walfo we became a more democratic country and improved the world tremendously by keeping our world clean and beautiful, while still maintaining some of the happiest citizens. We directly control former Belgium and the Netherlands, but the rest of the Empire is autonomously controlled.

Geography

Due to its complete domination of the planet, the Walfonian geography and environment are very complicated and have many types. The Walfonians have taken the maintaining of the environment seriously, and have created countless national parks and protected areas to keep the environment pristine.

Demographics

Population
The population of Walfo consists of many backgrounds and ethnic groups with the original Luxembourgians framed as the first citizens. Everyone in the world can become a Walfonian citizen to receive rights and numerous benefits. Anyone can apply for citizenship, and in addition to the birth to death ratio, people join Walfo every day.

Language
Walfo's official language is English and is taught in every school in the Empire. The national language which is a second language taught in every school is traditionally Luxembourgish. No other languages are suppressed and ethnic groups can keep their heritage.

Religion
Walfo does not have a national religion, neither prefers one over another and maintains a complete separation of Church and State.

Government

The government of Walfo is a Parliamentary Democracy and consists of an Autocratic Ruler, Emperor Neil II. The Grand Parliament consists of the Senate which is the only major legislature. Because of global domination, the Senate consists of 398 senators which comprise of 2 senators per country, 6 continental advisors, 1 world advisor, and the Emperor. Each term for the advisors and the senators is 5 years, with no limit. Governments of countries conquered are autonomously controlled as they would in a world without Walfo. The countries still must pass bills to do big changes to other countries than their own or other important issues.

The WN is comprised of 115 million people (approximately 2% of the population) and receives over 3 trillion dollars in funding. The WM comprises of the WA (Walfonian Army), WIN (Walfonian Imperial Navy), WAF (Walfonian Air Force), WCG (Walfonian Coast Guard), WBO (Walfonian Black Operatives), and WSSC (Walfonian Super Soldiers Corps). It also consists of almost 153 million assets.

Economy

Our economy is led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Book Publishing and Tourism. State-owned companies are common. The average income is an impressive 175,334 Francs, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens. The income tax rate is 100.39% (Alright, how is it above 100% lol) and provides for spectacular Public Transportation, Education, Healthcare, and Welfare programs.

Infrastructure

The Walfonian government maintains its inherited infrastructure created by the territories. It has done many major overhaul programs to modernize and make the Infrastructure in, especially poor territories better. The Walfonian government is very invested in creating major mass transit programs, including huge train lines, to help countries after the banning of cars. The Walfonian government is currently involved in rail projects in every territory which will provide fast, comfortable, and affordable transport for its citizens to travel hundreds of miles or just a few. The government specializes in modernizing highways for the new AI-controlled electric vehicles as well as safer train lines for the rail to move.

The Walfonian government first banned coal power on earth after the conquering of the world. The government is looking to ban gas in the only sector it has not been removed, airplanes. The main source of the power of electricity is mostly created by hundreds of thousands of Windmills, millions of Solar Panels, and some very few dams. The government's power is also highly efficient allowing for unused electricity to be recycled. The government because of its bounds in technology made the world wind turbine and solar panel run and has zero net emissions.
