STATUE OF TIMUR NEAR NISHAPUR COLLAPSES OF NATURAL CAUSES
Timur, also called Tamerlane, was a Turco-Mongol conqueror would founded the Timurid Empire, a Turkic empire that would span much of Greater Iran. Historically, Timur has been associated with negativity and a period of mourning of Iranians, as his brutal and bloody rule cost the lives of many proud Iranians. His legacy, while negative to most Iranians, is also left behind physically in stone through a stone statue near Nishapur.
The statue has been left untouched by successive Sasanian monarchs primarily due to the fact that such a forcible destruction of would come to the ire of Iran's Turkic neighbor, the Central Asian Union. The statue has traditionally been left unmaintained and forbidden to access within 500 meters due to potential vandalism. Due to the lack of maintenance, several noticeable cracks, notably at his beard and left knee, have arisen and put continual stress on the statue. After a strong wind last night, the statue of Timur, at roughly 10 meters tall, finally collapsed under the stress of its numerous cracks.
Observers of the statue following its collapse have noted the statue being decimated into several dozen pieces from the base of the foot to the head, with only the right foot having any structure left. Over the following weeks, the pieces of the statue is to be carefully transported out of the site and sent to several museums throughout major Iranian cities. The reasons for why the statue's pieces are to be shipped out throughout Iran has been the subject of speculation by many, with the primary reason being that the legacy of Timur, a hated figure within Iran, has been finally eliminated through the collapse of the statue, also signifying the final and unequivocal collapse of the Timurid Empire's bloody legacy in iran.

In this special Three hour broadcast in BTV and many other News Media, the President Nafiul Shoron will be answering a range of question from both From the National News agency as well as members of the national and international press. President Nafiul Shoron has insisted that the National Press be given first preference with regards to putting forward their questions. So our first question is courtesy of Naimun From Jamuna TV.
Naimun Jamuna TV: Thank you President for your time. Sir Now that you have become the president and also during the rule of Another party in the parliament which is rare to see in Bangla. What do you think the politics in the country heading towards
Nafiul Shoron: You see, as per the constitution, I am currently not affiliated with any political party. Yes, I was previously associated with a party that was in opposition, but as the President of Greater United Bangla, I am now focused solely on the people of the nation. But to answer your question, i would say it is a great sign that citizens in Bangla know what is best for them and if they want to vote for someone they can do it without much fear. thank you.
Esha Choudhury DBC News: Before leaving office, many big project plans were made during the former president's term. Will you continue them, and how will your next Council of Elders look?
Nafiul Shoron: I respect the former president a lot. He is certainly a crucial figure in our history, but many of his planned projects cost too much to turn into a profit for the state and benefit for the people. I have plans to increase transport connectivity to those regions, which is a crucial step toward their development. Specifically, I have plans for the Arakan Division. I envision transforming it into a thriving hub for commerce, leveraging its strategic location and potential. By improving infrastructure, providing better access to education and healthcare, and encouraging local industries, we aim to uplift the entire region and ensure balanced development across the nation
Nirob Hawladar (PS of President): Now we will move on to the international Journalist Section.
Mr. Pezhman Nazir Fire Network [iran]: How does Bangla aim to improve relations with Iran? Iran views Bangla as a great partner and nation, we would like to hear your thoughts on this matter.
Nafiul Shoron: Currently, we have a good economic relationship with Iran. If Iran continues to be a good partner to us, we will reciprocate in kind. However, we will also consider the perspectives and relationships of our close friends and allies as we navigate and strengthen our ties with Iran. Our aim is to foster peaceful and productive relations that benefit both our nations and contribute to regional stability. We have a thriving Armenian community in Bangla. I look forward to exploring ways to build stronger connections through this shared cultural heritage.
Oleg Rodionov Russia Today: Under your presidency how do you view the future of Bangla's role within the Eurasian Economic Community?
Nafiul Shoron: EEC is a potential Economical Supper power if we can utilize our shared economical values and the Market setting aside our politcal differences we can all make a presidence. As For Bangla, I firmly believe Greater United Bangla will playing a proactive and pivotal role within the Eurasian Economic Community. We will strengthen our economic ties, promote regional stability, and work collaboratively on shared challenges. Our focus will be on fostering trade, investment, and technological exchange to ensure mutual growth and prosperity for all member states.

Nafiul Shoron: Currently, we already have a strong relationship with Middle Eastern nations, and we will maintain that momentum. For Africa, we plan to increase our partnerships in the future as it is a potential region for growth, and we want to support them in their journey. Of course we will not overlook or do any kind of exploitation but our goal is to make our Long standing Base of foreign policy is based on a merit-based approach that prioritizes national interests, regional stability, and global cooperation. Nafiul Shoron: Our relationship with Infiny dates back to before our independence. They have always been a great ally of Bangla, even during our worst times, and I believe we will remain good friends. As for work and student visas, we are committed to facilitating smoother processes and enhancing opportunities for our citizens and those from Infiny, fostering a mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge, skills, and cultural understanding.
Svetla Zlatkova Ivanova People’s Herald [Turko Bulgaria]: Many individuals in Turco-Bulgaria, both politicians and civilians, are greatly interested in the left-wing economic policies being pursued by the government of Greater United Bangla. On behalf of my colleagues and my compatriots, I’d like to ask how likely is Bangla’s transition to a fully socialist state system. Will there be a red dawn over the Sundarbans and the Bay of Bengal?
Nafiul Shoron: While we appreciate the interest from our friends in Turco-Bulgaria, it is unlikely that Bangla will transition to a fully socialist state system. In my view, no modern nation should adhere strictly to a single economic ideology. Each country must find the balance that works best for its unique circumstances. Bangla currently operates under a mixed-market economy, drawing on the strengths of both socialism and capitalism. Historically, we experienced a period of total socialism, but it did not entirely meet our needs. Our current approach is more balanced, aiming to ensure that our people do not suffer while also fostering economic growth. The government remains ready to intervene when necessary to prevent any economic mischief and protect the interests of our citizens.
Süleyman ErtuğruloğluACNR [Turko Bulgaria]: As representative of the ACNR, I would like to pose a cultural question. Beginning in the 1970s, Turco-Bulgaria pursued a campaign reviving the traditions of the Turkic Bulgar people. As president of Greater United Bangla, do you plan on pursuing any similar national revival campaigns? Perhaps in regard to renovating certain monuments or memorials?
Nafiul Shoron: Cultural preservation and revival are deeply important to us in Greater United Bangla. We recognize the value of our rich heritage and traditions, and we have ongoing efforts to preserve and celebrate them. My administration is committed to renovating and maintaining significant monuments and memorials that reflect our history and cultural identity. Bengali culture has always been progressive in its intellectual pursuits while preserving our own unique traditions. We aim to bring back and accurately revive the harmonious culture of Bengal. Efforts are already in place to ensure that our cultural legacy remains vibrant and relevant in today's world, inspiring future generations to appreciate and uphold our national heritage while integrating it with modern developments.
Costin Bosneag Revoluționarul Roșu [Turko Bulgaria]: Representing Revoluționarul Roșu, I believe it is my duty to inquire on Greater United Bangla’s position on the destructive and chauvinistic ideology of fascism. It was not long ago that fascism had reared its ugly head again in Europe embodied by the nationalistic regime of the criminal Antanasie Albescu. I am proud to live within a democracy again but I am interested to know what Greater United Bangla intends to do to combat fascistic movements within its own borders?
Nafiul Shoron: Greater United Bangla has a steadfast commitment to upholding democratic principles and protecting the rights and freedoms of all our citizens. We have not forgotten the hardships inflicted by fascism in our own history, and we remain vigilant against any resurgence of such ideologies. Our current system is designed to prevent the concentration of power in the hands of any single individual or group. Accountability and transparency are key pillars of our governance, ensuring that those in positions of authority are held responsible for their actions. As we move forward, we will continue to uphold democratic values, promote inclusivity, and foster dialogue within our society. By empowering our citizens and safeguarding their rights, we can ensure that the dark shadow of fascism never falls upon our nation again.
Parahat Muhammetewiç Şahberdiýew Akipress [CAU]: As the new Bengali President, what message would you like to convey to the citizens of the Central Asian Union about the future of our bilateral relations?
Nafiul Shoron: To the citizens of the Central Asian Union, I bring a message of friendship and cooperation. Our nations share deep historical and cultural ties, and my administration is committed to strengthening these bonds. We will work to enhance trade, cultural exchanges, and regional stability. Together, we can achieve a prosperous and peaceful future.
Parahat Muhammetewiç Şahberdiýew Akipress: Bengal has made significant advancements in technology and education. Are there any particular initiatives you have in mind to share these advancements with the CAU, and how might they benefit both regions?
Nafiul Shoron: Bangla has indeed made significant strides in technology and education, and we are keen to share these advancements with the Central Asian Union. Currently, we are investing heavily in research and development, particularly in the environmental and IT sectors. We are exploring initiatives to collaborate on green technology projects, which could help both regions address climate change and promote sustainable development. In the IT sector, we aim to create joint ventures and exchange programs to foster innovation and skill development. By partnering with the Central Asian Union, we can share our expertise and benefit from the unique perspectives and talents within your region. This collaboration will not only enhance our technological capabilities but also strengthen the economic and educational ties between our nations, leading to mutual growth and prosperity.
Parahat Muhammetewiç Şahberdiýew Akipress: Given the current geopolitical landscape, what specific strategies will you implement to strengthen economic and trade ties between Bengal and the CAU? In what ways do you think the recent geopolitical shifts, such as the rise of regional partnerships, will impact Bengal's relationship with the Central Asian Union?
Nafiul Shoron: The Central Asian Union has always been a valued partner to Bengal, and we are committed to further strengthening our economic and trade ties. In order to achieve this goal, we will implement specific strategies aimed at promoting bilateral trade, investment, and cooperation in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and agriculture. In light of recent geopolitical shifts, including the rise of regional partnerships, we recognize the importance of adapting to evolving dynamics while maintaining the strength of our relationship with the Central Asian Union. We believe that our longstanding partnership with the CAU provides a solid foundation for navigating these changes and seizing new opportunities for collaboration. While we remain vigilant to any unforeseen events that may impact our relationship, our commitment to the Central Asian Union remains unwavering. We are confident that by working together, we can overcome challenges and continue to advance our shared interests and mutual prosperity.
Nirob Hawladar (PS of President): Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed members of the press, and viewers tuning in from home and abroad, thank you for joining us today. We appreciate your insightful questions and the opportunity to address the nation's concerns and aspirations. As we conclude this press conference, it is my honor to invite President Nafiul Shoron to deliver his closing remarks.
Nafiul Shoron: Thank you, Nirob. To all our journalists and citizens, both here in the auditorium and watching from afar, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your participation today. Your questions and engagement are vital to the democratic process and to our mission of transparency and accountability. As we embark on this new chapter for Greater United Bangla, I want to reaffirm my commitment to serving this nation with integrity, dedication, and a vision for a brighter future. Our path forward will be guided by the principles of unity, progress, and cooperation. We will strive to build a society where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive, where our cultural heritage is honored, and where our economic and technological advancements benefit all. I also want to assure our international partners and allies that we value our relationships and will work tirelessly to strengthen our bonds for mutual prosperity and peace. Together, we can face the challenges of our time and create a more just and equitable world.
Thank you once again for your support and for being a part of this journey. Together, we will achieve greatness for Greater United Bangla. Stay safe, stay hopeful, and let's build a future we can all be proud of.

Controversy As German Leaders Approve Measure
The German Parliament advanced legislation that would downgrade certain criminal statues from a felony to a misdemeanor. Supporters of the move argue that it is meant to protect vicitms from facing felony charges for being involved in the creation or distribution of the content. Critics, however, were loud in their rebukes, suggesting that this will only embolden criminals and allow them to get away with a slap on the wrist.
When asked for a comment on the move by the German parliamentary body, President Janssens said; “While we have worked hard to create a unified nationstate in the USE for decades by bringing together several formerly independent European nations, it is important to remember that we respect the individual identity of our member states. They are allowed to purse and advance their own legislation to deal with matters of importance to them within the framework set out by the federal constitution and at this time I have no desire to involve myself in internal German politics. If people feel there is a violation of federal law that should be addressed, they have every right to litigate that through our court system.”
HELICOPTER CRASHES NEAR NAKHCHIVAN, OSTANDAR OF AZERBAIJAN REPORTED IN CRITICAL CONDITION
Yesterday night, a harrowing message was delivered from a Bell 212 helicopter en route to Nakhchivan from Yerevan. This helicopter carried the Ostandar of the province of Azerbaijan, Aydin Inklablu:
"Fog has set in, activating lights. Rain appears to be increasing..." LOUD SOUND, APPEARS TO BE A LIGHTNING STRIKE "er.. we... fall... elp..." STATIC
The crash was found near Guznut, a town close to Nakhchivan, one of the major cities of the region by a UAV surveying the region. Rescue equipment, along with another helicopter, whisked off Inklablu and his entourage, who are now being flown to Yerevan to undergo emergency surgery for the survivors' injuries. Reports have said that the right thigh and left arm of Inklablu is in critical condition, although the bones had been set on the helicopter. The pilot, along with one of the Inklablu's aides, are confirmed deaths, with Inklablu himself and one of his other aides being in critical condition.
A heavy thunderstorm, fog, and strong winds were reported near the crash site, with the leading major theory for the crash being a likely lightning strike on the propeller motor of the vehicle, which then crashed, leading to the two deaths and two critical injuries.
The rescue helicopter was spotted in Yerevan this morning, and is presumed to land near the Yerevan Eastern General Hospital. Gaanjia has expressed her strongest concerns in a private phone call to the vehicle. Later, she expressed these statements in a press conference regarding the incident:
"I pray for the speedy recovery and health of those injured in the crash. I mourn for those that have lost their lives in a terrible accident. I have a meeting soon regarding the incident with the Hayastan and Azerbaijan provincial government. Let us mourn and pray for those affected in this horrible incident."

.
Member States are invited to make their views known.
To the members of the UAN,
Nuclear power is one of humanity's most polarizing discoveries. Its power has been used for good and for evil for much of the last 80 years since its harnessing. It is one of humanity's safest and most efficient sources of electricity, the mechanism that powers much of our modern society. However, its potential for weaponization into the most heinous instruments of destruction cannot go unnoticed as well. Additionally, while its usage for energy is a great positive, certain negligent catastrophes such as Chernobyl and Three Mile Island remind us of the danger it still poses should stringent regulations not be implemented.
As the only nation in the Middle East with uranium enrichment capabilities, in addition to 15 nuclear power plants in construction with 1 small, yet active pressurized water reactor, Iran understands the benefits and downsides of nuclear power and already has stringent regulation beyond international standards that ensures our usage nuclear power does not harm a single human. It is about time that other nations come to use the same stringent standards that Iran uses for the utmost safety of nuclear power - this international organization, should this resolution pass, would greatly aid in benefiting the safe usage of nuclear power for humanity, helping our wonderful civilization to thrive continuously.
With my prayers to you all,
Arion Dadamani

Panama Canal to host Desalination Plant for Colón
While the New Columbia Canal Expansion Project is still underway, Governor Tobais Smyth-Wilson announced that the city of Colón on the canal's Atlantic Ocean side will be home to a brand new desalination plant. The initiation of the desalination process in Escobal, situated within the province of Colón, signifies a pivotal advancement in the realm of water purification, providing for the exigencies of approximately 6,000 individuals on a daily basis. This estimate is predicated upon the average daily water consumption of 200 liters per individual, thereby facilitating the provision of potable water to the 2,500 residents of this community. The New Columbia Canal Authority elucidated that the establishment of the desalination plant constitutes an integral element of a pilot program designed to meticulously assess the efficacy and financial implications associated with the utilization of reverse osmosis technology. Furthermore, the primary objective of this initiative is to ascertain and preserve the quality of drinking water suitable for human consumption.
This ambitious project encompasses a six-month evaluative phase, designated as the preliminary testing period, and is being executed in collaboration with the Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (Idaan). "This pilot program is expected to furnish invaluable insights under regulated conditions, thereby facilitating the determination of operational costs linked to water production employing this technology, in addition to identifying optimal management practices," remarked a spokesperson for the ACP. The selection of the Escobal sector as the genesis of this endeavor is attributed to its dire need for sustainable water solutions following the repercussions of a severe drought, exacerbated by the El Niño phenomenon, which impeded the operations of the Canal. This environmental crisis resulted in a pronounced increase in salt water levels within various sectors of Gatún Lake, notably in Escobal—a community primarily dependent on water supplied by an Idaan treatment plant.
The rationale behind the project's inception is to address and rectify the burgeoning challenges pertaining to water scarcity and contamination, particularly in the lakes serving the New Columbia Canal. It aims to implement enduring strategies that will ensure the stability of both the quantity and quality of water resources, thereby circumventing future adversities related to water supply in the region. Through rigorous investigation and application of reverse osmosis technology, the pilot plan strives to lay a foundation for the sustainable management of water resources, ensuring the welfare of the communities it serves.
