Nirob Hawladar (PS of President): Welcome to Press conference With The President Nafiul Shoron. In this special Three hour broadcast in BTV and many other News Media, the President Nafiul Shoron will be answering a range of question from both From the National News agency as well as members of the national and international press. President Nafiul Shoron has insisted that the National Press be given first preference with regards to putting forward their questions. So our first question is courtesy of Naimun From Jamuna TV.

Naimun _{Jamuna TV}: Thank you President for your time. Sir Now that you have become the president and also during the rule of Another party in the parliament which is rare to see in Bangla. What do you think the politics in the country heading towards

Nafiul Shoron: You see, as per the constitution, I am currently not affiliated with any political party. Yes, I was previously associated with a party that was in opposition, but as the President of Greater United Bangla, I am now focused solely on the people of the nation. But to answer your question, i would say it is a great sign that citizens in Bangla know what is best for them and if they want to vote for someone they can do it without much fear. thank you.

Esha Choudhury _{DBC News}: Before leaving office, many big project plans were made during the former president's term. Will you continue them, and how will your next Council of Elders look?

Nafiul Shoron: I respect the former president a lot. He is certainly a crucial figure in our history, but many of his planned projects cost too much to turn into a profit for the state and benefit for the people. I will try to keep those which are truly fruitful and have a sure way to help our citizens. As for the Council of Elders, I cannot say who will be there and who will not at this moment. We will hold a meeting with stakeholders in a few days to determine it, but I assure the nation that whoever we choose will be with the intention of working for the people.

Adhurjay Molla _{Bolo Bangla News}: Currently, many parts of Bangla are still underdeveloped compared to the central region. Do you have any plans for them, and if so, where exactly?

Nafiul Shoron: It is true that compared to the central region, many areas in Bangla are still in need of development, which the previous administration failed to deliver. I have plans to increase transport connectivity to those regions, which is a crucial step toward their development. Specifically, I have plans for the Arakan Division. I envision transforming it into a thriving hub for commerce, leveraging its strategic location and potential. By improving infrastructure, providing better access to education and healthcare, and encouraging local industries, we aim to uplift the entire region and ensure balanced development across the nation

Mr. Pezhman Nazir _{Fire Network [iran]}: How does Bangla aim to improve relations with Iran? Iran views Bangla as a great partner and nation, we would like to hear your thoughts on this matter.

Nafiul Shoron: Currently, we have a good economic relationship with Iran. If Iran continues to be a good partner to us, we will reciprocate in kind. However, we will also consider the perspectives and relationships of our close friends and allies as we navigate and strengthen our ties with Iran. Our aim is to foster peaceful and productive relations that benefit both our nations and contribute to regional stability. We have a thriving Armenian community in Bangla. I look forward to exploring ways to build stronger connections through this shared cultural heritage.

Oleg Rodionov _{Russia Today}: Under your presidency how do you view the future of Bangla's role within the Eurasian Economic Community?

Nafiul Shoron: EEC is a potential Economical Supper power if we can utilize our shared economical values and the Market setting aside our politcal differences we can all make a presidence. As For Bangla, I firmly believe Greater United Bangla will playing a proactive and pivotal role within the Eurasian Economic Community. We will strengthen our economic ties, promote regional stability, and work collaboratively on shared challenges. Our focus will be on fostering trade, investment, and technological exchange to ensure mutual growth and prosperity for all member states.

Oleg Rodionov _{Russia Today}: What is your view of the rising tensions in Asia with regards to Japan's continued occupations of islands such as Sakhalin, Taiwan as well as other islands?

Nafiul Shoron: As a neutral nation, Greater United Bangla advocates for peaceful resolution of disputes through dialogue and international cooperation. We encourage all parties involved to engage in constructive discussions and work towards mutually beneficial solutions, respecting international laws and norms. Our primary focus remains on fostering regional stability and ensuring the well-being and prosperity of our own people.

Gigi El-Ashraf _{Middle East News Agency[Egypt]}: What changes will there be to Bangla’s policy in the Middle East and Africa? Will your cabinet be introducing any major foreign policy initiatives?

Nafiul Shoron: Currently, we already have a strong relationship with Middle Eastern nations, and we will maintain that momentum. For Africa, we plan to increase our partnerships in the future as it is a potential region for growth, and we want to support them in their journey. I have some crucial policy potentially coming up that will hopefully increase our relationship more. We want to do business with everyone regardless their politics. Of course we will not overlook or do any kind of exploitation but our goal is to make our Long standing Base of foreign policy is based on a merit-based approach that prioritizes national interests, regional stability, and global cooperation. Friendship towards all, malice towards none.

Slava Acheï _{IBIS News[Infiny]}: What the new presidency will mean for Infino-Bangla strategic ties, and what it will mean for work and student visas?

Nafiul Shoron: Our relationship with Infiny dates back to before our independence. They have always been a great ally of Bangla, even during our worst times, and I believe we will remain good friends. In terms of operations and trade with Africa, they are a primary base region for that area. We will try to increase our presence in Africa, as it will be crucial for us. As for work and student visas, we are committed to facilitating smoother processes and enhancing opportunities for our citizens and those from Infiny, fostering a mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge, skills, and cultural understanding.

Svetla Zlatkova Ivanova _{People’s Herald [Turko Bulgaria]}: Many individuals in Turco-Bulgaria, both politicians and civilians, are greatly interested in the left-wing economic policies being pursued by the government of Greater United Bangla. On behalf of my colleagues and my compatriots, I’d like to ask how likely is Bangla’s transition to a fully socialist state system. Will there be a red dawn over the Sundarbans and the Bay of Bengal?

Nafiul Shoron: While we appreciate the interest from our friends in Turco-Bulgaria, it is unlikely that Bangla will transition to a fully socialist state system. In my view, no modern nation should adhere strictly to a single economic ideology. Each country must find the balance that works best for its unique circumstances. Bangla currently operates under a mixed-market economy, drawing on the strengths of both socialism and capitalism. Historically, we experienced a period of total socialism, but it did not entirely meet our needs. Our current approach is more balanced, aiming to ensure that our people do not suffer while also fostering economic growth. The government remains ready to intervene when necessary to prevent any economic mischief and protect the interests of our citizens.

Süleyman Ertuğruloğlu_{ACNR [Turko Bulgaria]}: As representative of the ACNR, I would like to pose a cultural question. Beginning in the 1970s, Turco-Bulgaria pursued a campaign reviving the traditions of the Turkic Bulgar people. As president of Greater United Bangla, do you plan on pursuing any similar national revival campaigns? Perhaps in regard to renovating certain monuments or memorials?

Nafiul Shoron: Cultural preservation and revival are deeply important to us in Greater United Bangla. We recognize the value of our rich heritage and traditions, and we have ongoing efforts to preserve and celebrate them. My administration is committed to renovating and maintaining significant monuments and memorials that reflect our history and cultural identity. Bengali culture has always been progressive in its intellectual pursuits while preserving our own unique traditions. We aim to bring back and accurately revive the harmonious culture of Bengal. Efforts are already in place to ensure that our cultural legacy remains vibrant and relevant in today's world, inspiring future generations to appreciate and uphold our national heritage while integrating it with modern developments.

Costin Bosneag _{Revoluționarul Roșu [Turko Bulgaria]}: Representing Revoluționarul Roșu, I believe it is my duty to inquire on Greater United Bangla’s position on the destructive and chauvinistic ideology of fascism. It was not long ago that fascism had reared its ugly head again in Europe embodied by the nationalistic regime of the criminal Antanasie Albescu. I am proud to live within a democracy again but I am interested to know what Greater United Bangla intends to do to combat fascistic movements within its own borders?

Nafiul Shoron: Greater United Bangla has a steadfast commitment to upholding democratic principles and protecting the rights and freedoms of all our citizens. We have not forgotten the hardships inflicted by fascism in our own history, and we remain vigilant against any resurgence of such ideologies. Our current system is designed to prevent the concentration of power in the hands of any single individual or group. Accountability and transparency are key pillars of our governance, ensuring that those in positions of authority are held responsible for their actions. As we move forward, we will continue to uphold democratic values, promote inclusivity, and foster dialogue within our society. By empowering our citizens and safeguarding their rights, we can ensure that the dark shadow of fascism never falls upon our nation again.

Parahat Muhammetewiç Şahberdiýew _{Akipress [CAU]}: As the new Bengali President, what message would you like to convey to the citizens of the Central Asian Union about the future of our bilateral relations?

Nafiul Shoron: To the citizens of the Central Asian Union, I bring a message of friendship and cooperation. Our nations share deep historical and cultural ties, and my administration is committed to strengthening these bonds. We will work to enhance trade, cultural exchanges, and regional stability. Together, we can achieve a prosperous and peaceful future.

Parahat Muhammetewiç Şahberdiýew _Akipress: Bengal has made significant advancements in technology and education. Are there any particular initiatives you have in mind to share these advancements with the CAU, and how might they benefit both regions?

Nafiul Shoron: Bangla has indeed made significant strides in technology and education, and we are keen to share these advancements with the Central Asian Union. Currently, we are investing heavily in research and development, particularly in the environmental and IT sectors. We are exploring initiatives to collaborate on green technology projects, which could help both regions address climate change and promote sustainable development. In the IT sector, we aim to create joint ventures and exchange programs to foster innovation and skill development. By partnering with the Central Asian Union, we can share our expertise and benefit from the unique perspectives and talents within your region. This collaboration will not only enhance our technological capabilities but also strengthen the economic and educational ties between our nations, leading to mutual growth and prosperity.

Parahat Muhammetewiç Şahberdiýew _Akipress: Given the current geopolitical landscape, what specific strategies will you implement to strengthen economic and trade ties between Bengal and the CAU? In what ways do you think the recent geopolitical shifts, such as the rise of regional partnerships, will impact Bengal's relationship with the Central Asian Union?

Nafiul Shoron: The Central Asian Union has always been a valued partner to Bengal, and we are committed to further strengthening our economic and trade ties. In order to achieve this goal, we will implement specific strategies aimed at promoting bilateral trade, investment, and cooperation in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and agriculture. In light of recent geopolitical shifts, including the rise of regional partnerships, we recognize the importance of adapting to evolving dynamics while maintaining the strength of our relationship with the Central Asian Union. We believe that our longstanding partnership with the CAU provides a solid foundation for navigating these changes and seizing new opportunities for collaboration.
