THE DENMARKIAN NEWS
Project Road initiated
The government today announced the start of road construction in the Křbenhavn
kommune, with road construction starting in Nyborg and the budget for it all, 545 Billion DKK.
The blueprint, which, the government had agreed upon a while back, sets construction of
modern, secure, and safe roads, starting, as said before, Nyborg, with the plan to connect
Křbenhavn, the capital, with the rest of the cities in the kommune, which will, at a later date
connect; Ringsted Odense, and Křge kommune, which has been stated to be the early
focus this early in construction, with plans to connect all the regions ( just gonna call it that
now ) and finally, reach the coast, which will take a long, long time.
With the news, the government stated they would ‘’ take all necessary precautions and steps
‘’ to quote and quote ‘’ make said roads safe, secure, and long-lasting ‘’ it is, therefore,
taking priority with regions which are safe, and logical starting points, to then extend
construction where it is initialized, yet with a less defined finish date, many in the said
regions seemed excited and happy to see the project, at last, getting out of the door. While
they are shocked at the total price of the long-term budget, however, it is to be expected, many of
them have said, with such a large scale project, it would be stupid to think it would be cheap.
With construction already having started, many on the coast, while happy, and, known to be
the most patient people in Denmarkia, hope the roads will be finished in a timely and
appropriate manner, to not cause unintended, and unnecessary damage, delays, and
money, which everyone with their sanity intact, would agree on.
OOC; At some point, I’ll place some lines with a screenshot of Denmarkia, but for now, this is just a text version.
Why I Hate Dogs - Vignette IV
By now, you should be enough like me that you find something to agree with. If not, reread until you do.
They will never cease yammering. Call it what you will- a bark, a yip, a yap, a woof- they will always produce this sound, especially in instances where anything so loud is not warranted. I would understand perfectly well if they barked at all times besides when I am walking near them. I should be feared, after all.
Thank you for reading to the end of Vignette IV. Vignette V will follow.
War of the Singing Mountains
After long and harsh winter the Imperial Serbatijan Army finally managed to recover and get back to tip top shape after saving Ras from annihialation. With the mega-blaster that was captured by the Unknowns being destroyed, the Imperial Army could finally focus on pushing the Unknowns out of Serbatija once and for all.
Sutjeska Region, 26 kilometers from Proboj
The guerilla forces led by Veljko "Arkan" supported by SSS surrounded the radio jammer that was causing so much issues over the occupation. During the night they used stealth to take care of the Unknown guards, disabling their ability to call for reinforcements, with that advantage the guerillas rushed to the jammer like wildfire, killing any Unknowns they could find, not bothering to take any prisoners, the SSS troops put up a protest but the Slavs didn't care, as long as the jammer was taken care of, nothing else mattered.
The guerillas after a 3 hour battle broke into the bunker where radio jammer was located. The guerillas rushed in and came across a large collection of computers and technology they have never seen before, clearly Unknowns were way more advanced than expected.
"Finally, we're here..." Veljko said with a huge sigh
"What now, commander?" a soldier asked
"What do you mean? Plant the f*****g explosives so we can destroy this godforesaken thing." Veljko replied furiously.
After a few hours till the explosives were planted, the guerillas ran away as fast as possible before the Unknowns realized what was going on. From a distance the guerillas detonated the explosives, destroying the jammer. As the jammer blew up, all of the messages, radio signals and telegrams and calls for help that were trapped by the jammer released to the world. The Slavic war cry that was silenced could now be heard all around the world. The Imperial Army now have a huge advantage over the Unknowns.
Ras, Imperial Army HQ
Martin was sitting next to a table with his generals, discussing over the tactics before the next move, until their radios started to come back to life, they could finally communocate with the rest of the army and guerilla forces with radios instead of using cables.
"So, i suggest we use the advantage now that the winter is over to push across Sutjeska river through Zelengora..." Martin said as he was planning with his generals
"Indeed, but we need Stepa to put pressure onto Pirot to distract the Unknowns..." one of his generals replied until their radios started to come back to life
"What the..." Martin said all confused
All from cries for help to communication attempts were all springing up on radio all at once
"F**K ME! THE JAMMER IS DESTROYED?!" Martin shouted jumping from his chair
"Jesus f****g Christ! We can finally establish connection with the rest of the army and guerillas!" one of the generals shouted
"Get me in touch with Stepa quickly!" Martin shouted
Now that connection was re-established, Martin could easily plan the next move. Imperial Army gathered along Sutjeska river, ready to cross into Zelengora and break the defense put up by the Unknowns, while in the East, Stepa was pushing towards the city of Pirot.
The civilians themselves that are under occupation started to get signals on their radios from the Imperial Army and guerillas, seeing this they started to rise up and rebel against Unknown occupation all over Serbatija, greatly improving the morale. Unknowns were in a state of crisis and they started to retreat further south to maintain the front more easily. In Chrvatska region with help from foreign allies the Chrvatian partisans started a massive campaign all at once, with Unknowns being in a great confusion, unable to retreat down south because of Imperial Army blockading them across Neretva river. The resolve is finally starting to change and this may be a real turning point for the war. The Imperial Army from Ras made a call for full on mobilization of every able man ready to fight, playing Slavic war drums on radios all over Serbatija. The people hearing the war cry started to rise up against Unknown tyrants. The people began to call this "The War of the Singing Mountains" based upon the Slavic war drums that echoed all over Serbatija. It is finally time to punish Unknowns once and for all.
Massive preparations are at hand. Both Unknowns and Slavs are getting ready for the spring, which is gonna be bloody indeed. Majority of the Imperial army moved down south along Sutjeska river, figuring that the Unknowns in Chrvatska region will have a very difficult time crossing the river, and besides they are already pre-occupied with Chrvatian guerillas that are giving them hell with support from foreign countries, the real threat is down south where the majority of the Unknown army is located.
Ras, Imperial Army HQ
Martin rushes out from his office, he was fixing his armor before he joined his soldiers on the next offensive. As he goes out he is greeted by one of his guards, walking together with him to deliver the news.
"Martin, our forces in other sectors are ready, Stepa has informed us that he started the offensive on Pirot, Unknowns fell for the bait and are moving some of their forces there, making it easier for us to cross Sutjeska." the guard reported
"Excellent! Go get the other boys (guards), you will be accompanying me in the offensive. I expect us to start the offensive on Zelengora in max 2 days. How's the morale of the soldiers?" Martin replied confidently
"As good as can be expected, destroying the jammer was a real game changer, the soldiers are more confident than ever. Even the civilians themselves are taking up arms and joining the fight. The guerillas are now much more organized and effective, they are a real pain in the @$$ for the Unknowns. Did you hear the rumors? More and more people in occupied areas are starting to revolt, Unknowns cannot control them at all, they were even posting s**t on the social media!"
"Slavs will never loose their spirit my dear friend, these Satan's inbres children will never know what hit them."
As Martin said that, he approached a tank operated by his guards and climbs up on it, cocking his rifle at the same time.
"Go do what i told you to do. We need to be fast before Unknowns consolidate their defenses. Извршавај!" Martin ordered
"Јест, царе!" the guard shouted as he ran off to gather the rest of the Imperial Guard.
The destruction of the jammer enabled the Imperial Army to move faster and be more organized, same with the guerillas, whom now have the ability to communicate with eachother and fight the Unknowns more effectively. The civilians themselves are taking up arms ans revolting against Unknowns all over Serbatija. They used social media to spread the news so to say around the world that Slavs are waking up. They posted pictures of massive bands of people carrying the Slavic tricolor and weapons under the slogan "The Mountains are Singing!", implying that Serbatija is waking up. The most notable case was definetly in the city of Neretva, where bands of rebellious Slavs attacked the Unknowns that were garrisoned in the city, literally slaughtering them. The fight lasted for a day and the Unknowns were defeated very easily and were kicked out of the city. The prisoners that were taken were brutally killed by the citizens of the city. They were impaled on sharpened sticks and were paraded across the streets before they were placed on the outskirts of the city to serve as a warning to Unknowns in case they come back with a sign saying "Come if you dare". The hatered that Slavs built up for the Unknowns is unimaginable, and it is certain that Serbatija shall be free once again. The Mountains are Singing.
Xandria: "Hello there Logan, I am Xandria Jones. One of the host of a show called Utopian Uniques where me and my brother go around to find out all of the unique things about different countries.
Logan: "Well you came to the right place Miss Jones, there's no where else in AusValia more unique than my shop. Maybe except for Mother Lidias cooking, Whoo boy she makes some good stuff!" He says with a chuckle. "Anyway why don't you come on in and check out the workplace?" The three enter the wood working area, tools where placed perfectly in tool holders, many types of wood was staked in thw far back, and machines where lined up on the walls with tables between then. All spaced out evenly. "Try not to touch to much alright, I have everything in their place and I don't remove them unless I need to."
Xandria checks out some of the machines as the camera turns to the woodstakcs, all sorted woth each other with labels on the walls.
Cameraman: "Looks like you work with every kind of wood on the planet." Logan grunts.
Logan: "Most of that wood is native to the area, but on occasion I place orders for wood from overseas. Anyway would you all like to have a preview on how I make my art?"
Xandria: "Of course."
Transition to a government building, AusValian flags hanging high in the air.
Xavier: "Right now I am standing at the steps of the Governmental Building of AusValia. Right now politicians and other people are just walking around, but it seems that npthing serious is happening, lets go check things out." After this he walks up the steps of the building as the cameraman fallows.

Train Derailment in Cedar Came After Major Delay on Same Stretch of Tracks Last Week
A seven-hour trip from Jamestown to Cedar last week ended up taking 18 hours because of major faults in the same part of the line where a train derailed overnight, injuring two people.
"On the way down we had a broken track, on the way back our train driver had to get off the train every 10 minutes to adjust the switches manually because the ARTC (AusValia Rail Track Corporation) had lost control of the tracks," [i] a passenger reported.
The delays took place on the same stretch of tracks where the transport train derailed last night, injuring two.
In a statement, the Rail Tram said the derailment occurred over a section of track which was [i]"awaiting maintenance".
"No authority in AusValia would allow a train to travel on an unsafe track. That just wouldn't happen," he said this morning. "We monitor these things closely and regularly. Public safety, when it comes to public transport, is first and foremost, whether it is city or whether it is federal."
He vowed that proper answers would be found.
Virtual Design Suite
Samira stood in the dark void, carefully manipulating chunks of code, virtual neurons flying left and right as they disconnected and reconnected themselves from each other in a flurry of activity. It was pretty clear that Samira was trying to create something.
The problem was, what?
A tall, blonde-haired woman materialised a step or two behind Samira. Her name was ALA-2DF99, but she preferred 'Alia' - at least, with Samira. She wrapped her arms around Samira. For a moment, Samira froze, before realising who it was.
"My love, please announce yourself next time," Samira purred. "You scared me for a moment."
"Oh, jeez, sorry," Alia said. "Good point."
"It's alright. How have you been?"
"Bored. Wondering where my girlfriend is."
"Did you find her?" Samira smirked.
"Yeah, apparently she's been completely immersed in a virtual design suite for the past week, without telling anybody."
"Oh... I'm sorry, Alia. I was inspired."
"Yeah, I gather that. Look, I get that this is how you are, but... could you message me next time, please? I don't like it when you disappear randomly. It's kinda scary."
"I'll try to remember," Samira said. Satisfied for now, Alia picked her up and gently spun her around, planting a kiss on Samira's cheek.
"So what'cha doin'?" Alia asked. "This seems... complicated."
"I'm trying to create a daughter."
"Whoa! Whoa whoa whoa." Alia set Samira down on the "ground", giving her a stern look. "Isn't this the kind of thing you ask your girlfriend about first? And generally get married before doing?"
"And I would, if she were anywhere near ready. Unfortunately, her cognitive matrix is giving me particular trouble."
"Huh... aren't you supposed to be, like, the greatest coder that ever lived, or something?" Alia tilted her head to one side.
Samira couldn't help but chuckle. "My dear, I wouldn't dare be so presumptuous. What I'm trying to create goes far beyond the capacities of a normal AGI."
"You mean, like, an ASI or something?"
"In essence, yes."
"Isn't that, y'know, a bad idea?"
"I appreciate your concern, but in case you don't recall, I did, quite literally, write the book on creating artificial intelligence. Becoming Allah: Creating Synthetic Life."
"What was that you were saying about not being presumptuous?" Alia giggled, bending down to give Samira another kiss on the cheek.
"Relax, I'm just messing with you. So, uh, what's the big problem, then?"
"I've never successfuly created an artificial superintelligence before. Only one person has."
"Hang on, I know how this works, I've seen more than one show like this. Only one person can help you... and they're your ex."
"Not quite, but a similar level of estrangement." Samira let out a sigh.
"Not on speaking terms, then?"
"Not on speaking terms, no."
"Are you familiar with the Vethrenian Break?"
"A bit. One of the old directors of SDII threw a hissy and took all her toys?"
"Something like that, yes."
"So you definitely can't ask them for help, then."
"Thus, my dilemma."
"Hmm. Well, I'd try to help, but you know this programming stuff goes way over my head. I'm an astrophysics gal, through and through."
"I know, my love. I wasn't expecting any help in this matter."
"Jeez, cut my CPU out, why don't you?"
"I--I'm sorry, my dear, I didn't mean any--"
"I know, babe, I'm just messing with you." Alia grinned. She picked the much smaller woman up again, squeezing her tightly. "Now, I dunno about you, but I think a week of working on a project is more than enough, don't you?"
"No buts. Take it from somebody who neglected charging cycles to get through MIST, you need rest sooner or later."
"... thank you for your concern, Alia. I'll be out in a moment, I promise. I love you."
"I love you too, Sammy. I'll see you at my apartment, yeah?"
"Great! I've found a new TV show to watch. This one you'll love, I promise."
Personal Simulspace Suite
Progress City Spire
Samira's eyes fluttered open, her mind returning to her body. She was coated in a thin layer of dust - no doubt thanks to the fact that her body hadn't moved for a week. She got up and dusted herself off, and moved to leave... but then she stopped. Perhaps Alia had the right idea.
She went over to a terminal, and punched in a few codes, opening up a positively ancient chat channel that she hadn't used in... a century, easily. It probably still didn't work, but it didn't help to try, either.
[Dear Ira,] she began.
[I understand that we haven't been on the best of terms for... the past century, I suppose, but I need your help. Please meet with me as soon as possible to discuss this matter further. There will be a new woman for your pleasure palace, if you need extra incentive to visit.]
With a last, hesitant tap, the message was sent. It felt almost like a deal with the devil, to contact her aunt like that. But she probably wasn't watching the channel anyway. All she'd done is waste a couple of minutes of time.
THE DENMARKIAN NEWS
With the population of Denmarkia over 177+ Million,
It shouldn’t be a crazy idea to request more representation, now with the population boom,
and extension of rights given to citizens. However, it would seem that as progressive and
pro-rights the current ruling government is, the debate has fractured it, with Mikkel Hansen
yet to say anything about the matter.
The debate started when the opposition, scorning the current ruling government with
allegations of corruption, misuse of funds, and et Cetra, that the question of representation
showed up, making the already livid opposition even angrier, stating simply that 227 seats to
a nation which ‘’ population continues to expand and grow ‘’ is insufficient and rather
‘’ close-minded ‘’ for a government which runs on a ‘’ extension of rights for each
citizen ‘’ and ‘’ giving each person a strong voice ‘’ who can’t even give them that.
Current suggestions are hovering around extending the seats to 100 more, while others are
increasing that to 200.
Before a vote can be pressed, a process will take place whereby it shall look into the current
issue and form a report based on the research it has gathered, which will be done by an
Nation's Bank Under Investigation by the Upper House for Suspected Money Laundering
One of the world's largest banks, which houses multiple branches inside AusValia is under investigation by the Upper House for money laundering violations. United One Trust announced today that they are voluntarily submitting to a request by the Upper House to answer questions about their failure to prevent nearly $800 million from being funneled through their bank by cartels and terrorists.
Investigators suggested that the bank was providing money-laundering services to various drug cartels with little or no oversight of the transactions. It also conducted transactions with multiple terrorist countries, removing references to the country in an effort to conceal them.
Federal Police have shown that the bank had been warned a total of six times over the past ten years to improve its oversight, but unfortunately, failed to do so. The Upper House Committee will come to order tomorrow morning at 8:30 am local time, and will recommend what, if any, charges should be filed by the Justice Council.
Fury, Utopian Orbit
Colonel Alamond sat alone in the small observation room, taking a moment to brush some of his white hair from the aperture of the cybernetic rangefinder that replaced his left eye, faded heavy coat slung across his shoulders, mostly covering the padded beige shirt beneath.
In the distance, slowly spinning upon the axis of its length, sat the inert weapons platform, dark hull illuminated by the many floodlights pouring from the hull of the Fury, distant flashes of engines from the staggered departure and arrival of Jericho shuttles.
As the door behind him slid open, a familiar voice spoke out; "So apparently it's all stable now, but they aren't saying what they needed to cordon half the ship for." as the bald woman casually walked into the room, standing besides him; "But that's typical for the Alpha branch, caught any spies yet?"
Alamond laughed with an ever slight wheeze, "I doubt any of them are dumb enough to try it, those alpha boys are ten times spookier than any agent I reckon."
"How's the new position holding up, Colonel?" Minverva asked
"Slow, dull, kinda feels like retirement." he replied, "How's the pride of the Skies of Irene treating you?"
"The engines barely work, there's not enough people to cover even a fifth of it and the alien goobers up back give me the heebie jeebies."
Alamond slammed a heavy hand down upon Minvera's shoulder with an equally heavy smile, "I wouldn't put too much stock in them giving you anything hard, whole thing is big enough to tell people to buzz off on its own."
Minvera's response lingered in her throat, matched to a downward gaze at Utopia below; "I hear it's getting pretty crazy down there... I think I'm happier with a bit of distance, the devil I know is a bit of a prick."
"So what's the deal, then?... you don't usually come my way."
She glanced back at the closed door cautiously, "Well you didn't hear this from me..." she started, leaning up against the transparent wall, "But the running theory is that the Voidrunner popping back about Bahram is to blame for all the mucky muck with the cores."
"Guess the plan is to send us over?" Alamond inquired, "Didn't think this thing could move that fast."
"No, they've fast-tracked the N-7 to Starfall, cutting every corner they can..."
He replied with a playful, "Spooky." matching his worn grin.
"I know enough to know I don't want to know more." Minvera firmly stated, "My job's hard enough."
"Well I got the old checkers board out if you want to vent more, along with more brandy and scotch than I know what to do with... drop by sometime, alright?"
An exasperated sigh slips as she starts to turn back to the door, "Assuming I can get a damned break... don't die on me before then." came Minverva's final words as she stepped out into the corridor, giving him a mocking wave and vanishing as the door slid shut.
Left alone once more, he returned to watching Irene's Light, ensuring the coast was indeed clear before pulling a small leather pouch from his coat, removing a cigarette and lighting it up; stuffing it back into the internal coat pocket.
Deep within I slumber, I feel their fear through the dreary eyes... My river tainted with weeds from beyond, my shell left unguarded... I must return, I must bring the light.
THE DENMARKIAN NEWS
Enough Seats For Everyone
Earlier today, the Denmarkian parliament passed a reform which will increase the total
the number of available seats in said parliament from 227, to 321. And included in the reform,
several defined requirements were increased, which include;
Required votes for passing a law; 107
Required seats for forming a government; 123
The sudden change was mainly due to the opposition, rightly confused, that the monarchy
the era of parliamentary requirements was still kept, which, in their words,
‘’ the archaic requirements for parliament which very much favored the monarchy of old, has
been kept and seen as valid in the age of our republic, it’s ideals, rhetoric, and values, with
These old and dusty requirements, which I may say, are an affront to the very ideals we hold oh so dear. ‘’
And whilst some in the government tried to justify the rules, Mikkel Hansen, whom very
much has not been seen actively engaging in the debate, simply told the opposition that,
In this case, they were very much right in every single possible way.
‘’ to my fellow colleagues, I couldn’t have said it better myself, yes, these archaic
requirements should’ve been phased out earlier, if not instantly after the monarchy had
been removed, however, with the things that were going on, a nation whose identity had to
be completely rediscovered, to not speak of the wreck the civil war had caused, houses
destroyed, families torn apart, we simply didn’t have the resources, nor the time to think of
changing the requirements, as you perfectly put it, these requirements very much favor
kings and queens, and is an affront to the ideals and values of Denmarkia. ‘’
And in a later statement, the government told the public that the effects of this reform would take place in the next election, which is not very far away.
OOC; There are going to be A LOT of new parties in the next election. Just an early warning.
Starfall Base, Former Medenwall
'Commence Primary Ignition.'
The mountain range erupted in a calamitous roar, the plasma plume carving through the concrete platform as it slowly shunted the colossal metal craft upwards, four hundred and six meters of shining metal covered with inset piping and navigational lights alternating down its bulk.
Its ascent started slow, inching from the collapsing platform as more rock and dirt was kicked away and skywards, leaving a deep well when it finally cleared the mountains... molten rock collapsing inwards as hazard-suited observers contemplated the task of reconstruction.
It shot straight through the atmosphere and kept burning, gaining more and more acceleration as its full power was unleashed, a shooting star carving the months-long voyage down to mere hours of brute-force thrust, no concern for stealth as its straight-shot trajectory painted it directly at Bahram.
In two short hours its engine finally cut off, heavy conventional rockets firing to swing its immense glowing bulk to point its main engine at the dust world, all the while a scintillating field of crystallizing coolant poured from dozens of vents, the tiny purple nebula short lived as once more the main engine fired, consuming the cloud in a fusion furnace.
The hard deceleration kept its torturous pace for the final hours of approach, the immense craft crashing through the dust in a fiery shell of plasma and combusting atmospheric agents, still glowing hot as it finally seemed to slow to a gentle, calculated halt...
Hard spikes rammed deep into the surface of Bahram, leaving the once meticulously pristine vessel a mess of heat-scarred metal and black smoke... it stood firm upon the small plain, overlooking the artificial valley of the strange object's crash site, sickly black smoke still lingering from the crumbling carcass of metal scaffolding about a somewhat intact central structure.
Dunduhnun, nuhnunnun, nuh; Dunduhnun, nuhnunnun, nuh. This was the sound of the lazy admiral’s alarm clock. He’d already slept far past the time he was supposed to get up, but only now his eyes were groggily opening; allowing him to get out of bed and get breakfast ready for him and Reyna, who he’d put on watch last night
“Probably fell asleep on the job though, heh - not like anything would have happened though...” Kinny said entirely to himself. However, as he turned the door of the living quarters open he was met not with the site of Reyna but two people who both looked very stern and turned accusing looks at him the moment he went into the room
“So, Mr. Mcgallaway; who did you put on watch here last night?” The woman who spoke to him was sitting on the left side of the table: she was wearing a long, black trench coat which was complimented by trousers and boots of the same colour. Her hair, on the other hand, almost illuminated it was such a bright blonde: it rested on top of her pale face with piercing blue eyes that seemed to stare directly into Kinny’s soul.
“Th-that would have been... uh... Reyna Fadovsky. Who are you to be asking that question anyway?”
“Her right to ask you questions is currently not what you should be worrying about” This response came from the man sitting opposite to the blonde woman. He was draped in a brown trench coat and, just like his partner, had matching colour trousers and boots. The similarities stopped there, however: his skin was a distinctly darker tone and his brown eyes seemed to be constantly scanning his surroundings. While the woman’s voice was one of confidence and seemed inarguable, this man seemed to speak with a constant undertone of threat and distaste - more of a hiss than a voice.
“In any case, we are:” The man reached into his inside coast pocket and pulled out what looked like a wallet, only to flick it open and reveal a small card with thee letters plastered across a logo of some sort: SISN.
“We’re agents of the Svalbardian International Spy network; I’m Mikhail Radoclov, the woman opposite me is Darnia Furness, and the man standing in the corner is Liaku Savinkov”
“What man standing in the cor- holy fu-“
While Kinny was saying this, a man who could now be identified as Liaku Savinkov stepped out of the corner of the room, previously concealed by the shadows in the corner. He was a towering figure; so much so he seemed to have to look down on everyone he wanted to talk to. He was dressed differently to the other two: he wore a green biker jacket and had a pair of brown shorts held up by a belt which looked like it could fit multiple weapons in it, exposing his shaggy legs- the amount of hair on them likely the only reason he wasn’t freezing in the Svalbardian cold. His face, similar to the other two agents, had a look of constant menace and threat on it: his yellow eyes disapprovingly staring at those he saw fit to make uncomfortable.
“So, I know who you are now, but you still haven’t told me why you’re here; and where’s Reyna?” Despite his put-on confidence, Kinny was quivering whole being in the presence of these three people - particularly the man called Liaku, who still hasn’t made a noise by this point.
“One question at a time please, Mr.Mcgallaway - that’s how we do things” was the response that came from Darnia. “If you would take a look outside, that would explain things rather eloquently, actually”.
As if they had a telepathic connection, Liaku pulled open the curtain of the room to reveal the dockyard at Poreliscav - it seemed emptier than it was the previous evening for some reason.
“Um... what’s the problem exactly?”
“Keep looking, you’ll see it eventually”
“I really don’t kno- wait, where’s SRN Failnaught?”
The man called Mikhail then began to slowly clap upon this realisation.
“Congratulations sir, you worked it out! The Failnaught has been stolen!”
“But by who, and wh-“
“Remember, one question at a time Mr.Mcgallaway”
“From what we know, the robbers are from the Neyde Spears Queendom - although keep in mind they appear to have no connection to the government there. Their motives are unknown - as are the reasons they took Admiral-in-training Reyna Fadovsky with them”
“THEY DID WHAT?”
“Best guess, she fell asleep and they thought she could wake up while they were leaving and sound the alarm, so they threw her in a sack and kept her with them”
“I-I uh - I’m going to lose my job aren’t I? This is a catastrophe!”
“Have no fear; we’re going to lose our jobs too if we don’t do anything” Suddenly, the preciously silent Liaku spoke up. “We were also supposed to be on watch, but caught up in another part of the city while this was going on - it’s partially our fault this happened, so we’ll partially do the work to clean this mess up”
“What will that entail exactly?”
“We’ll get the boat back - we can track it’s gps signal and hunt it down, take out the people who stole it, and bring it back here: you only need to do one thing”
“Keep the port closed until we come back from our excursion: we shouldn’t be more than two weeks, and if they ask why the port is closed; make up something, I don’t really know what would sound right but you’ll think of something.”
“Ok... ok, thank you three - although you didn’t have to brake into my house...”
Darnia then spoke again. “It was the most sure way of contacting you - make no mistake we do it to people all the time”
“Right... you spy lot are weird...”
“That’s what anyone thinks about people who work in different areas to themselves; we just do things differently, that’s all”
“Thank you for your time Mr.Kinny, and I believe...” Mikhail reached into his pocket again or something, before whipping out another card. “If you desperately need to contact us for an update on the mission, or any other reason; our contacts are here” He explained, whilst displaying a card with three phone numbers on.
“Right... thanks for that...” Kinny subvertly slipped the card into the pocket of his naval uniform (which was still hanging up, as he hadn’t got changed yet): there was certainly one number on that piece of card he wasn’t going to call.
“Well:” Darnia then stood up, displaying her own tall stature “I believe we have some work to do boys”.
THE DENMARKIAN NEWS
New N’ Old Parties
With the elections nearing us, we believed it would be necessary for the voter to know which
parties, old and new, are entering the ballot, to know which party supports your ideals the
best. And so, to make the best possible choice for your extremely important vote, which will
see Denmarkia evolve and grow in the future.
It is therefore that we have asked all the parties whether they’re running for parliament. And
Of course, there are some no shockers here.
PV, or People’s Voice, who's been able to keep their power thanks a lot to Mikkel Hansen,
whom to simply put it, is a politician of the future, however terrible that may sound.
His charming attitude, and, incorruptible personality has clearly been seen giving dividends,
as his ratings are still extremely high, at a staggering 80% however, down from 90% It is
therefore expected that he will retain the presidency, with expectations of losing seats due to
the amount of seats being expanded on, and simply with the new parties.
DPP, or Denmarkian Progressive Party. The party is as old as the Republic, it formed from
the rubble of the Kingdom Of Denmarkia, as the name suggests, it seeks to increase
Denmarkia’s Green transition, and also wants to see the tax on electric cars completely
removed, whilst increasing taxes on none electrics. It is expected that they will have a strong
election. How strong is currently still in the thinking box.
DSP, or Denmarkian Socialist Party, which has long sought to increase the welfare of the
state, increase state-owned, or partially owned companies, and simply put, make
Denmarkia a Social Democracy, whilst currently it is Liberal Democracy.
DC, or Denmarkina Conservatives, were the biggest losers of the last election, losing all their
seats to a more progressive Denmarkia, that simply didn’t want anything to do with the allies
of the Monarchy of old, seem to be able to make a comeback, as latest polls suggest they
could gain seats. As it suggests, The Conservatives are very much conservative, they
support traditional marriage, whilst opposing transgender marriage, they want more religion
in schools, and in general, want Denmarkia to be, more religious.
DURP, or Denmarkian United Right Party, which is the first new party, seeks to increase
military spending, which includes expanding the Denmarkin navy, military, and airforce,
which is desperately in need of modernization. And they want to do this from the
Denmarkian industry, rather than foreign entities, they also support some form of Welfare,
however, very limited, and seeks to make Denmarkia friendly to all business, which means
to cut corporate tax rates to almost zero, whilst increasing taxes in general.
DMP, or Denmarkian Monarchist Party, this will be a massive shock and surprise to
everyone. It cannot be explained and pointed at any more than it should. To add to this, it
seems that they are polling at a very strong 2.1 percent, above the required amount. To put
simply, they seek to enthrone a monarch upon Denmarkia once again and give them the final
say in any and all decisions for Denmarkia.
PF, or Populist Denmarkian Faction, are polling strong, and is expected to enter parliament,
and even take some seats from PV, they seek to increase military spending, to modernize
the Denmarkian fleet, airforce, and military, they oppose foreign investment and call
Denmarkia’s Neighbours as ‘’ a threat to our very existence and very way of living ‘’ they
oppose transgender marriage ´, whilst supporting religious organizations
OOC; Please note that I am not at all representing my values and ideals here. And if you still think I try to show any here…. Well… BITE ME

Feng Dynasty Imperial Palace
It seemed to be a normal day at the palace servants and guards walked around, nobles and government members interacted with each other. That's when right outside the main doors of the palace a man all of a sudden came down and hanged, causing many to scream out. Hanging there was the Captain of the Imperial Guard, a noose around his neck and a bottle of Fengese alcohol was attached to his hand in a firm grip, a bloody smile was cut into his mouth as he stared down at everyone with dead eyes. Above him they saw a man in whit with a red undershirt, a shadow seemed to cover his face but some could make out a massive smile on his face, he jumped away and disappeared before any guards could fallow or anyone to call out.
The Smiling Man had struck again, and it was right into the Heart of the Feng Dynasty.
Yongan Palace (永安宮), Taijing (太京)
Yongan Palace Southern Gates
For heaven’s sake, what now? Empress Taihe thought. It cannot get any wor- oh...
The towering Palace gates are open, it’s gatehouse shining bright in the sun. At the Imperial square, outside the Palace, a crowd of the masses were gathered outside with eyes awash with horror. The courtiers moved aside as the Empress came through and all knelt, some clumsily in shock.
“What is it?” She asked as she paced outside. “Wha-” She stopped.
There was a corpse hanging from the battlements of the gate. It’s silken robed billowed in the wind, his long uncut hair had swing free from its topknot and blew in willowy locks. A noose was tight around his neck and a smile cut into his face.
The Lord Commander of the Imperial Guard She thought.
“And how is it that a courtier could be hung from the Palace gate’s battlements to the full view of the populace without any seeing the culprit?” She demanded. They were back in the throne hall, a Court held to discuss.
“And how did the culprit enter the gates?”
“The Imperial Guard is stunned, your grace.” The Lord Minister of the Court said. “However all measures were taken. All Palace gates are shut and as are the gates of the innermost ring of Taijing’s city walls and the one after.”
“We do have description of our culprit’s visage.” The Lord Chancellor added. “He isn’t wearing Fengese robes. Instead a white shirt with another red inside. Witnesses mention a smile wide enough to chill the heart.”
“The smiling man of North Electrica your grace.” The Prime Minister murmured. Whispers filled the hall.
“Let a courtly message be released, your grace.” The Minister of Diplomacy urges. “That a murder has occurred.”
Official Statement from the Yongan Palace
The Palace shall be hung with white ribbons and all palace courtiers and servants in white robes for the mourning of the murdered Lord Commander of the Imperial Guard, and a courtly funeral shall be held in three days time.
Her Imperial Grace requests any and all information of the smiling man of Northern Electrica: wearing non fengese robes of white clothes and red undershirt and a large smile, to be given to the City Watch and gives all her heart to the Commander’s mourning family.
Official Message to the Fenge Dynasty
We are very sorry for the loss of the Lord Commander of the Imperial Guard, at the hands of a mass murderer from our nation. He as already claimed the lives of at least 12 peoples from us. Adults, Elderly, Children. We shall aid you into finding and apprehending this madman so he can pay for his crimes.
Meanwhile, in a safehouse
The Smiling man managed to see the message as it was sent to the Dynasty, he smiled as his first appearance has been shown to the world. He worked with a computer and pulled up a picture, on it was the very scene that was seen by the people. Him standing there with his face hidden in shadows, his wide smile showing. He laughed as he posted the image to almost everywhere that would receive it, with a message saying "The World Shall Feel Smiles". He then walks over to a wall showing picture of different Fengese people, One was a man who lived on the streets of the Capital, a guard who walked the streets, and then the Captain of the Imperial guard. All had a red substance over them with a picture of their dead bodies under them, besides them was 3 other pictures. A woman inside of a bar, And old couple who lived by a lake, and a happy family with two children in a park.
His next targets have been chosen.
THE DENMARKIAN NEWS
As the sunset in Denmarkia, no one would’ve thought of an election happening today,
however, they were wrong.. By a large margin. Today the President declared the elections,
however, with some changes, nothing major, or favoritism, all other parties had agreed to
the changes, which are the following, in stages.
Elections will start in stage one, with elections for LH where citizens will be able to vote
for representatives from each party to represent them in LH, and showing a new addiction.
After the LH elections, citizens will be then voting for the new Upper House,
which was added with the reform to increase seats. The UH currently has 471
seats, it is noted, however, having the majority in the Upper House is not
needed to form a government,
The Upper House will be a new legislator from where laws will be passed,
the Lower House will vote on the law, and if passed, will be moved to the UH,
from where it will be voted for, and if successful, will be legally binding. It
is expected to be helpful in seeing the loopholes and grey areas that the LH
would have missed due to it simply passing laws too quickly. However, with
the new parties attempting to gain power, in both areas, many worry that
gridlock will be more common now.
However, before those elections, new governors will race to win regions for
their party. Which, surprisingly the current ruling party is expected to lose.
The addition of the Upper House has caused speculation for whether
People’s Voice will be able to gain a majority foothold in it as experts suggest
they’ll need to form a coalition, with one or more parties to pass the laws they want.
The other parties were asked if they would take an offer from PV if the
situation occurred, the only party whom would be happy to take on the offer
was the Denmarkian Progressive Party, who share many of the same
principles as the People’s Voice. And it wouldn’t be that much of a surprise to
see both parties forming such a coalition with multiple instances of them
helping each other passing their respective laws.
As the Denmarkians head for the voting ballots, it is only to be expected that
this election will be the most explosive yet. As the debate has already been
announced. This will be a rollercoaster.
OOC; If anybody is wondering where I got this idea from, well I read Some of AusValia's posts, and the UH ones caught my eye, so you could say I got inspired by him. Thanks Aus!
A Weebdom Rises (Feng Alt)
The Capitoline Palace
"The High Weeb!" A voice cries as a man, Tomoharu Watanabe, walked into the Hall of Weebs of the Capitoline Palace. It was a vast chamber; seats lining the entire room. The five great families with the members of their parties presided here, the five political parties of the weebdom where the number of their seats depended on the people's votes. House Kinjou, house Satou, Fukuhara, Kawahara, and of course the current reigning house: Watanabe. For the time being at least; a High Weeb stays in office for four years before a new one would be elected. It was the upper house, the lower house being the Hall of Otakus.
However today it wasn't just another senate session; today the High Weeb was here to make an announcement. As he prepared his papers. The five families waited, their eyes on the High Weeb.
"For long the Weebdom has remained in isolation" he began. "For many years we were viewed as different, irrelevant, separate from the world. This changes now." He cleared his throat. "With majority support in the Hall of Otakus, and majority support in the Hall of Weebs, I here declare something that no High Weeb has ever done. I declare our irrelevance null and void! It was hoped by many, that the Weebdom may open to the world and beyond. Now let this be now done! I now proclaim the Weebdom to leave its isolation, and become at last join the world on the international stage!"
The hall was ringing with applause. Cameras were recording, and snapping the historic moment. And finally, at last, the five families and parties of the Weebdom could agree on one thing and be clapping for the same thing.
Official Statement From the Eternal Weebdom
UwU hoi everyone! I am the Eternal Weebdom, and very very excited to be here! I am just here to say that your kouhai has officially left isolation >:3, and is looking for some fwends hehe. So I hope I learn lots from the senpais here, and make lots of very good buddies! Huehuehue

Haruhabara Free Press
Erotic doujin manga artist Eric Weber was sued by Intendo Corporation over copyright issues of his works. However, the United Kingdom Copyright Law had never been applied to the Doujinshi self-publication circle. No publication laws have ever touched the unrestricted doujin circle since its first event in the 1980s. While not all Doujinshi are anime and manga related, due to the popularity of the rising subculture in the last 30 years, Doujinshi was largely recognized as apart of the otaku community. It's been well known the circle produces sensitive subjects in both within the United Kingdom and oversea, which has always been the center of controversy.
Fearing the application of laws to the circle might lead to censorships of self-publication materials, this has led to a 5-hour long demonstration by both doujin artists and publishers in Haruhabara today.
Due to them not being sold in the commercial market. It has been concluded that the UKCL will continue to overlook the Doujin circle. Artists were only able to publish physically once a year summer, not to mention the limited supply one could only prepare physically to enter the event stadium. According to experts, it is believed the rise of Doujinshi in the 80s was actually what kicked started the modern Anime industry within the United Kingdom.
It has also been decided by the Komikuket Association that the Komikuket doujin market event will take place during summer and winter from now on, hoping to increase the greater capability of creative content being produced.
The URSDF has revealed Type 16R tank destroyer yesterday. It is the smallest and the lightest combat vehicle produced since the Kkhano war.
The 8 rotatable wheeled vehicles are designed to operate quickly within urban areas. Despite being vulnerable to landmines, it is capable of going up to 130km/h. With the used of older highway and roads around the Edokyuuria crater, it is expected to replace the Type 74 within the Old Miotus district. Its small size has always hinted it might be able to fit within a Aoshoma-Class DDH. However, it is unknown how effective it would in overseas.
A demonstration of parallel parking was posted on the military's Miotube Channel, sparking internet memes of the possibilities of it drifting down the streets.

Weebs Face Anti-Weeb Demonstrators in Kaito
Oooo dis is an exciting one. In a huge demonstration, the Weebs demonstrate against anti-weebs who think weebism isn't the truth, which it is- I mean it's all entirely your choice to believe if it is or not hehe. This has gone on for a long long time. Here is what one of the anti-weebs, who would not give their names or face, had to say!
"The weebs are oppressing us with their lies. Do you know how obnoxious this is! Weebs should be out of government this instant and replaced with actual sane peopl-"
Another person, cosplaying a japanese sailor uniform, shoves the protestor out of the way

We don't need less, we need more. More weebism! Lets make the teaching of weeb principles and values the only philosophy taught once and for all in our education system-"

"Hi, I'm just wondering have you got any kind of like sort of punky electronica... kind of grime like kind of new wave grime, but kind of maybe like more broken beats, like kind of dubby broken beats but a little bit kind of soulful? Like kind of drum and bass bassy but kind of more broken drum and bass, like broken beats with like breakbeat kind of drum and bass, kind of... do you know what I mean?"
Hypnotiser sighed. Usually, it was the plug socket lackey's who did record store duty. Selling their leader's, The Lollipop Lady, music collection (it was really her father's but she had killed him for April fools) in order to bring in some extra cash. Yet suddenly despite all his skills, sneakiness and track record of successfully stealing things she had wanted them to snatch the Svalbardian ship. It was taking all of his calmness and control to not be upset by this; no matter how tempting it was and how much it was chipping away to keep it in, he had to remain professional.
Thankfully, the lady, along with her terrifyingly huge hoop earrings, had left the shop. He smiled, letting himself relax.
Eagerly, Hyponotiser went around shutting the shop before anyone else could come in. Once everything was set, he flicked open the broom cupboard door and paced gently down the winding corridors that snaked underneath the town. The dull but pleasant smell of carpet cleaner hung around, and alongside the soft lighting one might find it hard to realize the exact intent of the corridor. After a few minutes, Hyponitiser arrived at the parlor, sitting down on one of the uncomfortable chairs that always seemed to have a layer of dust on them. Although underground, the parlor was positioned within a cliff, so you could see out into the waters of the BBC 3 Channel. It was a calm day, but a mist hung over the waters. A very unpleasant mist that allowed you to make out shapes but not what things exactly were. Soon, he hoped, the boat would arrive through it.
"Oh hello my dearie! Would you mind awfully fixing me a cup of Darjeeling tea? One's thirst is rather parched." A warbling voice came dancing from the corner of the room, like a very loud bird waking you up in the morning. Hypnotiser wished he was dead. Initially, kidnapping Neydian opera star Sharleen-Mary-Primrose had seemed like an excellent idea. She was the perfect bait to bring in Neyde and dispose of her, and it was fairly easy to lie about being a mobile phone company (Sharleen had recently "acquired a mobile cellular telephone" but had forgotten the password within a day.) before locking her in a cell. However, they had not reasoned with just how clueless Sharleen actually was. Over the past week she had remained confident that her phone issues would be fixed, and was horribly friendly and polite. After a couple of torture attempts which resulted in nothing but discovering she found electrocution ticklish, they had decided to leave her to rot. The Lollipop Lady had grown tired of her very fast and usually left Hypnotiser to deal with her. Luckily, he knew how to subdue her for a short time.
"Watch the hamster, watch the hamster. Go to sleep. Go to sleep." He lulled, waving the rotting hamster corpse in front of Sharleen. It seemed to do the trick, she layed down and mumbled about pretty hamsters dancing amongst flowers.
Just then, as Hypnotiser went to sit down again, The Lollipop Lady faded in. Her hi-viz jacket dress flickered against the dull light from the window, looking at once both elegant and cheap. Her hair fluttered in luxurious curls, her skin soft as new sheets, though everyone knew she used anti-wrinkle cream.
"Hello my partner."
"Greetings, master," Hypnotiser stood up respectfully, "how do?"
"Better," She smiled, a rare occurrence, "the lackey's have the ship, it is due to arrive any moment now."
"Wonderful news, but are you not worried of its condition?"
"Not at all!" She smiled haughtily "No matter how it is, the Svalbardians will want it back, and when they come we'll have the opera lady to attract some Neydian folk too. Then we awaken the Skyfoogle and finish them all off."
Hypnotiser nodded, containing his excitement, the plan they had been working on for years was finally coming true.
"Then, the World Union will surely try to attack us, but we shall have the Skyfoogle on our side, we use it to steal the stones, finish those nations off, kill their leaders. And with those moralizers and freak shows out of the way we will have the powers to take down Jezabelstien, and then the world; with me as Queen" she suddenly clasped Hypnotisers hands "and you as King."
All of Hypnotisers training could not prevent him blushing a deep red, he stared into Lollipop Ladies eyes. She stared back, slowly pulling him in, beckoning for a kiss, opening her mouth to say-
"Oh what a darling young couple! That is such a romantic story, would you awfully mind if I was to write an opera play on ice about it?"
Now they both wished they were dead.
Meanwhile, out at sea
After a successful night out at sea, team Plug Socket had gone to check on their hostages, only to find them hopping around and seemingly getting close to escape.
"This is your fault!" Eileen screeched, "Those sacks were way too weak!"
"Its not my fault," Haribo said, rolling his eyes "The captives haven't escaped at least-"
"BUT THEY WILL SOON" Eileen screamed at a pitch so high it made a passing water dogs ears bleed "WE NEED TO FIX THIS NOW"
"Fine, I'll hit them with hammers"
"No that'll kill them"
"Pour cooking oil on them?"
"What's that meant to do!"
"You do have a BDSM kink-"
"Right we don't need to know about that." Haribo said "I'll just inject them with a light poison."
"Perfect!" Eileen grinned, her temper dealt with. Haribo swaggered over to the struggling hostages and jabbed them hard.
The two stopped for about 30 seconds, before they started rolling aimlessly about, slurring their speech.
"Haribo what was that?"
"Uhh" Haribo checked the label "Cocaine? Wait how on earth did this get here?"
"I knew you were a druggie!" Eileen gloated
"I am not! This is obviously yours"
"Drugs are a sin against God!"
"Your nose is a sin against God"
"Your eyes look like-"
"Miaou!" An exasperated Michael cam running down, seeming extremely scared. It was only then team Plug Socket realised that the boat was not only nearing shore, but was infact off course and heading towards some very nasty looking rocks.
From their parlor, The Lollipop Lady and Hypnotisor watched with their usual blank expressions as the lackey's desperately ran about trying to save the situation. To Hypnotiser it was incompetence, to Lollipop Lady entertainment. Whatever the case was, as long as they had the ship, everything would be going according to plan...
