That it must be avoided to the best of our ability. That no unilateral and unprovoked act of agression is justifiable. Ultimately, Jakuzure will only deploy it's military force in it's own self defence or defence of it's allies in accordance with it's obligations to its international partners, or on peacekeeping missions.

War or at least the threat of war is an easy way to get people to do what you want. Coarsal doesn't employ any traditional soldiers to forcefully command into battle, but the militias enjoy a common target making it easier to loot wealthy and powerful nations and cooperate to bring about success for the Free Islands.

Try to avoid it. Otherwise, fight smart and winning is sure to happen (even with outdated tactics)

Tethys 13 wrote:Question of the Day:

Peace is optional

War, if executed correctly, could bring out the best in mankind and as a pioneer of a civilization. A constant state of war could also benefit a country, as long as said party is not directly involved. The Principality has shown her benevolence by establishing countless colonies via military intervention or by democractic secede referendums.

War is expensive, so it is frown upon for the overall longevity of the Station. However, the current conflicts the Station has with the Infected Lunar Settlers and the Rogue Martian Andriods are seen as necessary conflicts, more so with the newfound peace between the Station and Earth.

Training, discipline, logistics, stealth, and arcane technology are the cornerstones of the Alliance Military. The history of the Alliance is one of continued defensive minded expansion of territory and vassals. Never afraid to launch a preemptive strike the Alliance is a militarized society seeking to defend itself and maintain its sphere of influence. A general doctrine of rapid deployment is in place to strike where the enemy is weakest and defend wherever the enemy may appear. Military action is done with little to no regard for civilian casualties, though military objectives are targeted. Priority is given to aerial superiority before attempting land operations. Command structure generally follows an organized hierarchy with a decentralized structure to allow individual commanders to take initiative when opportunity presents itself, provided commanders follow the tenets of preemption, dislocation, and disruption over attritional destruction.

Question of the Day (suggested by Kharostia):

If you could only use three letters to write all of your messages, what would they be?

Tethys 13 wrote:My answer:
I, V and X would allow me to create the roman numerals from 1 to 39, which I am sure I could use to create a cypher.

After careful consideration, I have narrowed it down to m, r, and u. ₩)(0 /\/££₫$ |£₮₮£R$ 1₣ $¥M80|$ ₩1|| ₫0. It isn't pretty but it works.
Alternatively for handwriting the letters i, c, and u could be combined to write out any other letter.

Assuming that we are using characters, I would use "_" and "." for morse code. It is shorter than binary, arguably, and it isn't too difficult to translate it when you are accustomed to it. Who needs the third character anyways?

Question of the Day:

Who has the rights to fossils found in your nation - for example, if three unrelated people owned the land, owned the mineral asset rights to the land, and discovered the fossil?

Tethys 13 wrote:My answer:
The Tethysi are very keen on finder's rights. However, there are knightly orders dedicated to paleontology, who would not hesitate to involve themselves by force if necessary if they decided those rights were being abused to the detriment of academic progress.
