I want to pipe in on this to say that this is in fact the very reason RIA is defender. While at the moment our defender military is inactive, we plan to resume our operations in the coming weeks, and rejoin our fellow defenders who work daily to prevent raids on other regions who are vulnerable to raids.

I have a question. How do you invade another country/state/nation? I don't want to invade any countries but if he do happen to be in a war and if our military does fail I think its right if I know how to invade the attackers so I can help.

Like I don't want to invade the country itself I just want to defend and ward off the attackers. I don't wanna seem like a pain but if I join an alliance to me its right that if its in danger the least I could do is help to ward of the attackers so we would be safe. I know you said our military is strong but things happen. So I want to know how to ward off attackers.
So, warfare between countries isn't simulated by this game at all, it can only really be done by text-based roleplaying. What Invasion and Defense is is instead a sort of exploit of the game mechanics surrounding the World Assembly that allow people to raid small founderless regions and take them over. No invader region can successfully occupy the RIA because we have an active founder who can kick them out, but the best way to prevent them from making short-term raids is to join the WA and endorse our Delegate,

I just noticed a challenge a nation for nationstates 10th anniversary I have not tried but it seems to be interesting
The challenge thing is a bit old at this point iirc, but it can be fun till you start getting into the higher groupings where the big nations just kinda get auto-wins due to the way the stats are calculated, last I checked.
I see... I did not even know it existed until I was just checking on other people's nations
Its a nice way to see how you square up against other nations in the region

I first got it in 2013 and it's really fun to play in multiplayer games!
Also, Jute can u help me because I want to expand my area and I want to take some land that is disputed and isn't governed yet. Can you help me do that?
I saw the game on steam and it looks complicated but I'll still see how much it costs so I can download it.
