Inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest, The North Pacific Vision is a popular music festival that takes place in NationStates, in The North Pacific region. This contest gets its participants to show off their musical tastes and favourite songs and listen to each other's music in a vibrant and competitive way.

Each nation chooses a song, sends it to the host, who analyses whether it follows all the rules. After all the songs have been submitted and the deadline for submissions has passed, the songs will be evaluated by the participants themselves, who will vote for the songs they like more. The nations that score the most points will participate in the final round and the nation that wins the edition will have the chance to host the next edition of TNPV! As well as being allowed to proudly and happily declare that they won the edition, of course.

Participation:

• You can only participate with one nation, preferably your main account.

• Only WA member nations from regions of NationStates who have an embassy with The North Pacific and exemptions can participate. Some of the exemptions include: Cleopatra VII, Art Landia, Neonlake and Ihese. Check all exemptions here.

• WA membership must last throughout the current edition. If not, the contestant nation will be disqualified.

• Don't use secondary nations. Participating with two or more accounts is strictly forbidden.

• Read all telegrams/RMB messages that the host and the facilitator will send you. They send important information: reminders to vote, pointing out inaccuracies in your vote, change in dates, etc...

• You have until 21.09.2026 at 23:59 CET (GMT+1:00) to submit your entry!

Song:

• Songs can only be 6 minutes or less.

• No religious, hateful, discriminatory, political or patriotic songs (including anthems).

• Must contain lyrics.

• Must not have been used at TNPV or Eurovision before. Want to check if your song is valid? Click here!

• You must submit your song via telegram to El Caldron using the participation form. If you prefer, you can also announce it on the general chat of the official TNPV Discord server.

• If your song fails to meet the requirements, you may choose another song.

Voting:

• You can't vote for yourself.

• You can't vote for the same nation twice.

• You must listen to all songs.

• You must vote using the voting template (without the text in brackets).

• Failure to vote will lead to disqualification.

• You can't use AI to do your votes.
