The Republic of 19 Uma is a massive, orderly nation, notable for its ritual sacrifices, compulsory military service, and infamous sell-swords. The cynical, humorless, devout population of 1.915 billion 19 Umen are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, corrupt, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 66.9%.

The frighteningly efficient 19 Uman economy, worth 217 trillion banks a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Woodchip Exports, and Basket Weaving. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is an impressive 113,411 banks, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 323,779 per year while the poor average 31,659, a ratio of 10.2 to 1.

Residents are readily ratting out rats in restaurants, compass sales have gone south, pop sensation "Jack and the Holograms" is storming the charts, and endangered species are effective hostages against the 19 Uman military. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. 19 Uma's national animal is the card, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

19 Uma is ranked 280,324th in the world and 801st in Izern for Most Secular, with 9.79 Atheism Rate.
