The Oppressed Peoples of 2o3o is a very large, orderly nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape, parental licensing program, and frequent executions. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, devout population of 233 million 2o3oans are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Welfare, and Defense. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 14.5%.

The strong 2o3oan economy, worth 14.9 trillion Euros a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Retail. Average income is 64,088 Euros, with the richest citizens earning 6.3 times as much as the poorest.

Auctioneers practice saying "lightly used tank" with a straight face, a life spent suffering in silence is considered noble, citizens who leave the nation for work are instantly charged with treason, and curtailed social programs have left many citizens bereft of any safety net. Crime is almost non-existent, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. 2o3o's national animal is the Digital Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution.

2o3o is ranked 248,601^st in the world and 6^th in Astragrad for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 171.98 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
