The United Berber States of Alezabar is a massive, efficient nation, ruled by President Adid Abu-Bouchareb with an iron fist, and remarkable for its prohibition of alcohol, flagrant waste-dumping, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, devout population of 2.845 billion Berber are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The relatively small, corrupt, pro-business, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order, Industry, and Administration also on the agenda, while Environment and Social Policy receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Alezier. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 9.7%.

The powerhouse Berber economy, worth 225 trillion Alezabarian Dinars a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Information Technology. Average income is 79,350 Alezabarian Dinars, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 529,794 per year while the poor average 4,500, a ratio of 117 to 1.

The nation's infamous boot camp is more brutal than most battlefields, internet service is too costly for normal people to purchase, real estate agencies are being replaced by naval recruitment offices, and scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway. Crime is a problem, possibly because it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many regulations. Alezabar's national animal is the Fennec Fox, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Sunnahism.

Alezabar is ranked 30,501st in the world and 36th in Barbaria for Largest Mining Sector, scoring 7,334.23 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
