The Aesir Empire of Aragonn is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Jarl Brunnhilde with an even hand, and renowned for its rampant corporate plagiarism, free-roaming dinosaurs, and punitive income tax rates. The devout population of 27.605 billion Aesir have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Education, Industry, and Environment are also considered important, while Spirituality and Administration aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Drekiheimr. The average income tax rate is 74.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Aesir economy, worth a remarkable 4,914 trillion arans a year, is led by the Tourism industry, with significant contributions from Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is an impressive 178,022 arans, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.3 times as much as the poorest.

Children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces, the armed forces are locked in an expensive and bloody war abroad to stamp out possible terrorists, genocide is seen as a topic best avoided in history lessons, and the government funds large training centres to turn Dýrs into functioning members of society. Crime is totally unknown. Aragonn's national animal is the Dýr, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Norse Paganism.

Aragonn is ranked 116,663^rd in the world and 11^th in New Hyperion for Largest Black Market, with 1.93 trillion Standard Monetary Units.
