The Republic of Back Into Hell is a massive, genial nation, remarkable for its ubiquitous missile silos, enslaved workforce, and devotion to social welfare. The compassionate, cynical, devout population of 1.5 billion Back Into Hellians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The enormous, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Healthcare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 75.8%.

The frighteningly efficient Back Into Hellian economy, worth 138 trillion dollars a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, quite specialized black market in Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Basket Weaving. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 92,333 dollars, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 275,354 per year while the poor average 24,244, a ratio of 11.4 to 1.

More sidewalk is dedicated to animals than people, even the nation's brussel sprouts are delicious and nutritious, policemen regularly conduct midnight raids on closed donut shops to 'collect evidence', and it is mandatory to learn evolution in schools. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Back Into Hell's national animal is the falcon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution.

Back Into Hell is ranked 274,869th in the world and 12th in Meat Loaf for Fattest Citizens, with 6.45 Obesity Rate.
