The Cultural Capitalists of Echoslavia is a mammoth, efficient nation, ruled by Alexander Henry Gonzalez with an iron fist, and renowned for its ritual sacrifices, punitive income tax rates, and restrictive gun laws. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 9.756 billion Echoslavians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Defense, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Geruva. The average income tax rate is 69.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The powerhouse Echoslavian economy, worth 925 trillion Echaran dollars a year, is fairly diversified and dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Uranium Mining, Automobile Manufacturing, and Woodchip Exports. Black market activity is rampant. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 94,885 Echaran dollars, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Grinding bureaucracy has the international wheels of justice turning slowly, teachers are dying as they attempt to read 500 word essays without pausing for breath, the new one Echaran dollars coin also makes a handy throwing-star, and diplomats agree to the terms and conditions of peace treaties without reading them. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Echoslavia's national animal is the Orangutan, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Echoslavia is ranked 214,275th in the world and 93rd in Pax Indica for Largest Pizza Delivery Sector, scoring -3.13 on the Pepperoni Propulsion Productivity Index.
