The Protectorate of FwF is a colossal, pleasant nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape and suspicion of poets. The hard-working population of 4.805 billion FwFians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Industry. The average income tax rate is 24.9%.

The strong FwFian economy, worth 218 trillion Delta Eagles a year, is led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Woodchip Exports, and Furniture Restoration. Average income is 45,290 Delta Eagles, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.1 times as much as the poorest.

F-SPAN viewership drops as MPs act their age, military barracks resemble five-star hotels, singles on the dating scene no longer worry about looking their age, and scenic beaches are now protected by massive concrete walls. Crime is relatively low, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. FwF's national animal is the Kitsune, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

FwF is ranked 158,361^st in the world and 2^nd in Chemos for Most Developed, scoring 55.38 on the Human Development Index.
