The Colony of Keruzoret is a colossal, efficient nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, compulsory military service, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic, devout population of 3.743 billion Keruzoretians are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, pro-business government is effectively ruled by the Department of Spirituality, although Defense and Law & Order are also considered important, while Industry and Environment are ignored. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 7.7%.

The very strong Keruzoretian economy, worth 226 trillion lire a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Book Publishing, Gambling, and Uranium Mining. Average income is 60,430 lire, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 213,904 per year while the poor average 12,326, a ratio of 17.4 to 1.

Government theft from poor artists to give to rich allies has been dubbed the "reverse Robin Hood" policy and organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region. Crime is moderate, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Keruzoret's national animal is the seahorse, which can occasionally be seen avoiding garbage in the nation's murky oceans.

Keruzoret is ranked 129,859^th in the world and 19^th in Colonies for Highest Average Incomes, with 60,430.39 Standard Monetary Units.
