The Dictatorship of Li Zhen is a very large, socially progressive nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-working, democratic population of 398 million Li Zhenians are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The tiny, pro-business, outspoken government prioritizes Defense, although Welfare, Healthcare, and Law & Order are also considered important, while International Aid and Environment receive no funds. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 7.1%.

The very strong Li Zhenian economy, worth 23.5 trillion rubles a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is fairly diversified and led by the Woodchip Exports industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Soda Sales, and Door-to-door Insurance Sales. Average income is 59,111 rubles, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 216,095 per year while the poor average 11,469, a ratio of 18.8 to 1.

The tenet of free speech is held dear, the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, Harry Potter books are banned, and the diplomatic corps stinks. Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Li Zhen's national animal is the porpoise, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to heavy metals seepage into national waterways.

Li Zhen is ranked 90,728th in the world and 1st in The Allied Nations for Highest Drug Use, scoring 194.91 on the Pineapple Fondness Rating.
