The State of Primelle is a gargantuan, pleasant nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 33.441 billion Primelleans are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

The relatively small, moralistic government prioritizes Law & Order, although Defense and Industry are also considered important, while Welfare and Spirituality are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Capital Heights. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 11.0%.

The strong Primellean economy, worth a remarkable 1,493 trillion betales a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Woodchip Exports, Book Publishing, and Uranium Mining. Average income is 44,646 betales, with the richest citizens earning 6.8 times as much as the poorest.

Voting is voluntary and Primelle has designated Capital Heights as its capital city. Crime is moderate, possibly because it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many regulations. Primelle's national animal is the deer, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Primelle is ranked 119,747^th in the world and 77^th in State for Most Advanced Law Enforcement, scoring 2,059.56 on the Orwell Orderliness Index.
