The United Federal States of Refiria is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by TLFKAQ with an even hand, and notable for its infamous sell-swords, free-roaming dinosaurs, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 4.179 billion Refirians enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

The tiny, corrupt, liberal, pro-business government is effectively ruled by the Department of Industry, with Public Transport also on the agenda, while Law & Order and Welfare are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Refiria City. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 3.3%.

The frighteningly efficient   Refirian economy, worth 625 trillion dollars a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Retail industry, with significant contributions from Gambling, Soda Sales, and Woodchip Exports. Average income is an impressive 149,782 dollars, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 1,043,797 per year while the poor average 7,451, a ratio of 140 to 1.

R-SPAN features senators wrestling with ever-increasing production elements, throwing garbage out of your house's front window makes it legally someone else's problem, one lone government employee can be seen hunting for the elusive stray white dog, and farmers' market days almost always end in a shooting. Crime, especially youth-related, is all-pervasive, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Refiria's national animal is the red panda, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Refiria is ranked 161,761st in the world and 1st in TPFKAQ for Most Stationary, with 121.1826654986 days.
