The Bannorn of Rylos is a titanic, safe nation, ruled by Bann Mero vos Cholini with an even hand, and notable for its compulsory military service. The compassionate, devout population of 11.523 billion Rylosians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Defense. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Galan. The average income tax rate is 35.5%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but inefficient Rylosian economy, worth 424 trillion kamas a year, is led by the Book Publishing industry, with major contributions from Automobile Manufacturing, Pizza Delivery, and Beef-Based Agriculture. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 36,812 kamas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

Private law firms are unheard of, recognizing the Rylosian flag qualifies you for citizenship, tourists outnumber citizens two to one, and ambitious "businessmen" use their children to sell and advertise their products. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Rylos's national animal is the butterfly, which can occasionally be seen dodging aircraft in the nation's cities, and its national religion is Maumiqism.

Rylos is ranked 115,780^th in the world and 5^th in Ancient Lands for Lowest Crime Rates, with 65.7 law-abiding acts per hour.
