The JOIN NATIONVISION of Simonitaria is a mammoth, efficient nation, notable for its smutty television, daily referendums, and irreverence towards religion. The compassionate, democratic population of 5.75 billion Simonitarians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Industry. The average income tax rate is 26.0%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The very strong Simonitarian economy, worth 327 trillion tarias a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Basket Weaving, Trout Farming, and Book Publishing. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 56,897 tarias, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.7 times as much as the poorest.

Wandering Simonitarians are known for their one-track minds, engineers ask liberal arts majors "Do you want fries with that?", the nation's interest in space is at an all-time high while interest in saving the planet is at an all-time low, and the question "please would you...?" is usually laden with passive aggression. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Simonitaria's national animal is the Simonitaria tiger.

Simonitaria is ranked 62,052^nd in the world and 2^nd in NationVision Official for Smartest Citizens, with 40.48 quips per hour.
