The Colony of TAC33 is a titanic, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service and irreverence towards religion. The democratic population of 16.874 billion TAC33ians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 15.1%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but inefficient TAC33ian economy, worth 669 trillion Citas a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Trout Farming industry, with major contributions from Cheese Exports, Tourism, and Gambling. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 39,686 Citas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.1 times as much as the poorest.

Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. TAC33's national animal is the Vippertooth Dragon.

TAC33 is ranked 199,143^rd in the world and 1^st in The Arctic Circle for Highest Disposable Incomes, with 33,694.09 Standard Monetary Units.
