The People's Republic of TMJ is a mammoth, pleasant nation, renowned for its burgeoning Kitsune population. The hard-working population of 5.788 billion TMJians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Welfare. The average income tax rate is 20.0%.
The TMJian economy, worth 245 trillion Delta Eagles a year, is led by the Pizza Delivery industry, with major contributions from Book Publishing, Door-to-door Insurance Sales, and Arms Manufacturing. Average income is 42,422 Delta Eagles, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.6 times as much as the poorest.
Crime is relatively low, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. TMJ's national animal is the Kitsune.
TMJ is ranked 181,385th in the world and 1st in MUDA for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring 42 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
