The Isolated State of Wallavia is a huge, safe nation, remarkable for its avant-garde cinema, digital currency, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 619 million Wallavians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Wall. The average income tax rate is 71.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The Wallavian economy, worth 49.6 trillion bricks a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, quite specialized black market in Trout Farming, Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 80,066 bricks, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

Six-year-old children playing dress-up are viewed with suspicion, former slaves find themselves being herded onto ships once more, foreign leaders who don't applaud Leader's speeches are regarded as enemies of Wallavia, and deceased politicians' MyFace profiles are unanimously pro-incumbent. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Wallavia's national animal is the sheep, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Wallavia is ranked 299,447th in the world and 246th in Empire of Great Britain for Nicest Citizens, with 0.47 average smiles per day.
