High taxes, high prices, lots of homeless and lots of protests that is destroying Portland. Oregon has some benefits like small towns, Eugene and the environment but that's pretty much the good side. Don't move there. Instead, move to Idaho. Specifically Coeur d Alene. It's on a Interstate and has good access to nature and any environmental tourist location they have over there. Speaking of which where do you live btw?

The only things I'll ever remember Idaho for are potatoes and that "Greater Idaho movement" or whatever, lmao
Why did I claim a page with this-

For real.

You can thank the Mormons for the potatoes.

That Oregon what?

Edit: I assume that was a mistake since you removed it lol

They hated black people so much that they banned them from the state when not even Southerners post-war wanted to do that (they just wanted to keep them as slaves under another name).

Thats why its impressive because they have paid their public relations team quite a lot of money to be not remembered as one of the most racist states in the Union.

What's your dream state to live in btw? I want to live in Pennsylvania, specifically Philadelphia's Kensington Street. Heard a lot of good things about that place. I heard it's run by the Liberals there, seems a nice place to live in. /j

Its also probably because racism is seen as a southern thing and isn't typically associated with a lot of states above the mason dixon line.

Glory to GREATER IDAHO RAHHHHHHH!!!
In fact, I think we should clearly give Greater Idaho the entirety of Oregon, Southeastern Washington, Northern California, Western Montana and Northern Utah (including Salt Lake City)

Most of these examples are in the west and north.

The State of Deseret if it was controlled Idaho is one hell of a concept.

Holy s**t the SpringFest thread still survives the F7 autoprune system.

The Irishmen of Massachusets when they didn't spend money funding terrorism publicly and legally until Reagan told them off for it were some of the most vocal critics of school integration via busing.

free my boi raiding puppet he aint do nothing wrong

No, actually we should give them Cascadia, but the Deseret Idaho is ok in itself.

It would most likely collapse, the borders for Deseret were heinous and ugly. Even more so than the squaring of states west of the Mississippi River.

Honestly the ugliest part of the country state shape wise really is the Western half until you get to the coast. We had a chance to make beautifully shaped states, and we chose squares.
