Actually, now that I think about it, the moderator said "I know who the hacker is" so that strongly implies that Hesmillhiers is not purposely attempting to log into their own account from another device to avoid suspicion.
Because if that were the case, the mod would not have said that they know who the hacker is. They would have probably just warned Hesmillhiers instead.
