The Republic of Auioe is a mid-sized, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service, irreverence towards religion, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 72 million Auioeans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The relatively small government is primarily concerned with Defense, with Law & Order, Industry, and Healthcare also on the agenda, while Spirituality and International Aid receive no funds. The average income tax rate is 14.0%.

The Auioean economy, worth 2.92 trillion rubles a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Book Publishing industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Pizza Delivery. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 40,561 rubles, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.1 times as much as the poorest.

Crime, especially youth-related, is relatively low, thanks to a capable police force. Auioe's national animal is the unicorn, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Auioe is ranked 273,311^th in the world and 3^rd in Old for Most Extensive Public Healthcare, scoring 641.77 on the Theresa-Nightingale Rating.
