The Federation of Gerrin is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Aerianna Xelha with an even hand, and remarkable for its national health service, complete lack of prisons, and devotion to social welfare. The compassionate population of 1.158 billion Gerrinians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Merle. The average income tax rate is 48.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but underdeveloped Gerrinian economy, worth 40.3 trillion Lumis a year, is quite specialized and dominated by the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Beef-Based Agriculture, Book Publishing, and Retail. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 34,828 Lumis, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Foreigners write "made in Gerrin" on shoddy merchandise in hope of receiving a buy-out, citizens are allowed to rise or fall based on their own merits, several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, and motorcycle riders are required to wear so much gear they've been nicknamed "Stay Pufts". Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Gerrin's national animal is the Kitsune, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is The Goddess Triad.

Gerrin is ranked 111,773rd in the world and 209th in Horizon for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 736.48 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
