The Ceaseless Wonder of True Minds is a gargantuan, genial nation, remarkable for its national health service, anti-smoking policies, and stringent health and safety legislation. The compassionate, democratic, humorless population of 47.715 billion True Mindsians love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Education, Environment, and Social Policy. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Shakespeare. The average income tax rate is 98.8%.

The thriving True Mindsian economy, worth a remarkable 8,039 trillion farthings a year, is quite specialized and mostly made up of the Book Publishing industry, with significant contributions from Tourism and Trout Farming. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 168,490 farthings, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

There's no representation without taxation, arguments about toilet seats being left up or down get surprisingly heated, the government has officially clarified that "wee on your hands to save time" does not count as proper hygiene, and the volume of paperwork used to complete a single environmental assessment defeats the purpose. Crime is totally unknown. True Minds's national animal is the fox, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

True Minds is ranked 1,870^th in the world and 3^rd in Universal Dream Network for Highest Average Tax Rates, with 98.8 Effective Tax Rate.
