Venaerat Regional Message Board
Until 1880, Venaerat was united by the Venaerati Imperium. A few decades before the events of the 80s began with a two-year drought, which led to panic and economic crisis. The legitimacy of the ruling dynasty was declining, and the economic crisis developed into a deep depression. In early 1880, the United Socialist States of Vitbland seceded from the Imperium.
Secession led to civil war. In 1889, a group of anarchists broke away from Vitbland in the South-East and created the Heneas Free State. The war between Vitbland and Heneas ended only in 1900, they signed a peace treaty in the capital of Goosienaux, Neu Husseau. In the far west, in the colonial province of Goosienaux, after 5 days of revolution, the weakened garrison of the Imperium was defeated and a republic was founded in 1899.
In 1877, due to the deplorable state of the continental lands, ideas began to spread about the creation of a new nation on the northern islands, called Infernalium. In 1879, a year before the revolution, a group of people who supported the idea of resettlement went north and founded their republic there in 1881.
