Neither kings nor commissars should dictate the future of Heithestan! The true crime here is that the people were never given the choice to govern themselves. We reject both the monarchy and the new socialist government—only a referendum free from coercion can determine the will of the people.

For too long, the shadow of strife has loomed over the lands of our shared ancestry. For too long, walls of barbed wire and silence have divided siblings born of the same soil. Today, Heithestan writes to declare a new course.
In the name of reconciliation, the will of the working class, and the principles of self-determination, Heithestan formally acknowledges the sovereignty and independence of North heithestan.
The era of clinging to dead claims and imaginary borders has ended. We seek neither dominion nor submission—only peace, cooperation, and solidarity among peoples who have suffered under the yoke of war and division.
In light of this recognition, we respectfully propose the following measures:
Demilitarization of the Northern Border:
Let us begin a mutual and verifiable drawdown of armed forces along the northern border of Heithestan, with a shared commitment to peacekeeping instead of saber-rattling.
Opening of the Border for Civilian Transit and Trade:
We propose the re-opening of key border crossings for trade, family reunification, and cultural exchange under joint oversight. Let us restore the flow of goods, ideas, and people.
Establishment of Diplomatic Relations:
We extend an official offer to open an Embassy in your capital, and warmly invite your government to establish a reciprocal mission in Ishmigrad. These embassies shall be symbols of dialogue and mutual respect—not surveillance or coercion.

Gaining many new nations does not at present align with our policy goals.
