Statement from The Imperial Augustine Senate
On April 29, 2025
A motion was brought forth in the house of parliament.
Dismantlement of nuclear arsenal was then voted on and passed.
On April 30, 2025
After passing in the house of parliament, the issue was advanced to the Imperial Senate. After a short debate, the issue was voted upon by the members of the Senate. Passing in both houses awaiting final approval and signature of the Emperor.
As of May 1, 2025 the issue was signed and put into effect. Within the end of the year we expect 10% of our arsenal to be decommissioned. With hope to be fully decommissioned by the year 2029. Emperor John Naden is recorded making the following statement. "It is with an cautiously optimistic heart, that I signed this into motion. The terrifying nature of such weapons can be a deterrent, but also with looming catastrophe...I implore any nation that currently still has amassed an arsenal of such weapons, to do the same. So that we may maintain this world without erasing it from existence.
